This stay meant more to our family than the hosts could have known. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer at 40, and this was the perfect family trip before treatments and surgeries begin. The hosts knew nothing about our circumstances, yet went above and beyond. Their kindness made this time together even more special.The home blends older-home charm with tasteful updates, stylish and comfortable furniture, and comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped with name-brand appliances. I loved the gas range! And it’s DOG FRIENDLY!The dock. WOW!!! We docked our 24-foot boat with ease. Bald eagles were everywhere, the views were stunning, and the private beach is a 10/10! Paddleboards and chairs are provided. There’s even a farm-to-table restaurant on the property, and the history of the houses and grounds is fascinating. Close to town, yet peaceful and private!A few minor hurdles showed how caring the hosts are. After a storm affected the AC, they had window units and fans ready before we arrived. They responded within hours to a slow shower drain and offered additional accommodations to keep us comfortable.This hidden gem gave our family precious time together before a difficult chapter. We’re grateful for the memories and exceptional hospitality.

This property is truly a hidden gem. It is located on an estate dating back to the 1700s, is so gorgeous, has a working cidery, 3 apple orchards, a working farm with piglets and cattle! There is also a private beach that is a big plus. It is so quiet & private making it a very relaxing stay. The owners were so helpful & friendly & responded right away. Highly recommend this one of a kind experience!
