Because I'm not a teen or in my 20s or 30s, I found it somewhat difficult to negotiate all of the controls in the house. (I had 5 controls just to watch t.v. and dvds.) There is a summary of what to do, but perhaps it could be updated a bit. This is a good place for people to congregate during the winter months. At the moment, the basement portion has a pool table and a poker table, which were pretty much useless to a single person. And it was very damp and cold downstairs, and I guess the heat had been turned off (although asking for there to be no heat, I didn't realize how cold the basement area is.) I tried to find a desk and an outlet to plug in my laptop and printer, but the room with the desk had an outlet on the opposite side of the room. I purchased an extension cord, but it wasn't a 3 pronged one, so I couldn't use it. The hot tub is wonderful! It's a good place, just not for a single woman, at least not this one. I heard that a bear broke into a woman's house in the neighborhood to get some food, and this 400 pound creature smashed everything in the house, then pooped in the woman's bed and fell asleep. It had to be put down, because it wasn't his first incident. But for me, as a city person, it was a bit scary. I had to make sure every door was locked (except in the basement, where the door doesn't lock at all.) The owners are very nice people. It really is a good property with a lot going for it. Thanks for the flowers!
