we stayed 4 nights, picked up some groceries. We walked to the grocery store (Dunn's). Great location, its right in town, so you can walk to everything. Lot of different restaurants (pubs, Asian, Italian, ice cream) we went to Paddy Sheehan's to listen to some live local irish music. The apartment was nice/clean/we requested a mountain view which was very nice. The appliances our very different than the USA - once we figured it out it was ok. they did give a booklet with some directions. The lady at the front desk was very nice and very helpful. We went to show called Gaelic Roots at the Killarney Ave Hotel. It was great. We loved the Killarney area. we did RIng of Kerry, Dingle Pennisula, The National park and we were supposed to do the Skelling Islands but it was canceled due to high winds. There is alot to do in that area and the natural beauty is nice. The town is really fun too. Plan to stay for several nights to really enjoy the area

Nice sized clean apartment in a great location near Main lots of restaurants and bars. Dunnes grocery is a 5 minute walk away. Rail station is about 20 minutes walk. Front desk staff are really nice and helpful. Very comfy. Bed is full sized so a bit small. Full kitchen and nice sitting room with large TV. Washer works well but dryer does not dry AT ALL - the clothes dried fasting hanging on the rack than in the dryer. TIP - there is a book on the coffee table with clear appliance instructions - the one in the draw is confusing.

Family stop in Killarney

If you’re staying a few days this place would be great. Very spacious, fully stocked kitchen with appliances etc. lots of space. Bathroom in comparison and especially the shower were a bit small but still fine. Place is right at the end of the main strip of shops so good location.

Good location and easy parking are major positives. However the major issue we had was a lingering smell seemingly coming from the sinks and drains. Despite informing reception and them sending someone to plunge the sinks the smell persisted. It spoilt our stay and we were glad to leave.

Stayed here lots of times but this has sadly been the worse . The appartment was tiny , cramped and very noisy due to road noise . Felt quite Claustrophobic . Bed in smaller double room was hard and uncomfortable . Basin in bathroom needed the push down plug sortrd out as water leaked into drain constantly as the plug didnt seal . Shower tray had a large blob and 2 long lines of body washall over it so wasnt sure if it jad been cleaned or not so i did it myself . Oven door glass had fat streaks running down it and bedroom carpets had fluff and dirt still on them in places so.looked like hoovering had been rushed. Streaks and hand marks on.kitchen units . Was all very half heartedly cleaned. Staff are very friendly and lots of items included like wash tablets , tea coffee etc which is very handy so suvh a shame in regards to the other problems we had .

My daughter and I were excited for our stay in Killarney. By the pictures of the hotel.com website it looked like we were gonna have a nice apartment unfortunately it had nothing to do with the pictures online. The apartments are old, rundown, party apartments. They are dirty, holes in sofa, old heating systems. There were dark hairs on the towels we checked out without staying there and receivedno reimbursement.

Nice place and nice staff. The apartment was great until a truck came around 6:30 in the morning and unloaded metal racks of products to the grocery store next door for an hour right outside our window. They ran their compressor and crashed around. The fumes didn’t help either.

Great property right in the heart of Killarney

The property was overall great and looks just like the pictures. Nice view down the main street. Nice room, all the amenities, etc. The only downside it was HOT and there was no a/c or a fan and the windows only opened a little. I get it, this is not normal in Ireland but times are changing. You need at least fans for the room, especially with the sun beating down. Some people may be just fine with this but it was a sauna from afternoon to sleeping at night. Really uncomfortable. Also, maybe some instructions on how to use the washer/dryer? :)

Ideal location for experiencing the area around Killarney. The apartment was perfect for our family of four. Plenty of room to stretch out and very clean. Convenient to all the restaurants and shops. Highly recommend Park Place apartments!
