I stayed several days alone and then with family. Felt very safe. Place is a great location with Kiawah river views and a short pleasant walk to the beach. Pool and dock facilities are very nice. Place was very clean except for a big or 2 here or there but that’s to be expected in the woods in the South. Shady and cool with a very nice screened porch. Outdoor cushions could use a little cleaning but place was clean, kitchen well stocked with what you need to cook. Beds and linens were very comfortable and plenty of towels. I stayed 2 weeks and will definitely do so again!!

Great stay at Inlet Cove. House was clean and we loved the location. Great neighborhood pool and deck. We had a some issues with Fridge that itrip did best could to mitigate.

Great Location and Communication

You can't really beat this location. We were easily able to walk to Beachwalker park for beach access - very convenient if you're lucky enough to catch the dolphins strand feeding at low tide. Hosts were very responsive when we had issues, which were minor. The neighborhood dock was perfect for sunsets. Would recommend.

Very nice!

Overall we felt the property was very fine and enjoyed our stay. We have stayed on many, many properties throughout Kiawah over the years (probably at least 15!) The rental was beautifully decorated and very clean!! Only a few suggestions for improvement/optimal maintenance: 1) master bedroom needs a bureau or something with substantial pullout drawers; there were tons of hangers in the closet which we appreciated, but something’s are better suited for placing into dresser drawers 2) couple hanging racks were loose/broken (master toilet paper holder and kitchen paper towel dispenser) (also a previous repair to the master towel near master sink was crooked and poorly fixed) 3) master bath sink was very slow to drain…constantly having to wait and then cleanup sink after use 4) was not able to use the keurig as it needed descaling (so the machine said) and was burping/not usable; the Mr Coffee however worked for us fine (just had to buy ground coffee and put away the keurig pods we had brought with us) 5) maybe this is expecting too much (but we’ve always had this available in other rentals), but no hand mixer (cream cheese and butter frosting for our cake was challenging consequently). Called and asked if perhaps we just weren’t looking in the right place, and was told one wasnt stocked in the kitchen 6) pillows on the couch would consider updating perhaps as they were a bit worn picky stuff perhaps, and passed along just to make better for the next guy…we overall loved it!

Great place needs a few update

We had a great time. This home sleeps six very comfortably; the den area could use two new chairs to sit comfortably; the two they have are incredibly uncomfortable, making hanging out as only a family of four hard. I cooked breakfast one morning; there were only two sautee pans to use, and they were awful and could not take heat without burning...It would be great if they updated with a few new pots and pans. Everything else was excellent. Check-in was easy, and communication was perfect. The only reason we would not return is the den not being a great spot to hang out together at night and be comfortable.

Peaceful getaway

Loved this house! Plenty of room for my family of 4 and fur baby. The location is in a private neighborhood. The house is exactly as it is pictured online. The property was clean and well maintained. We walked the dog to the beach everyday. You can’t beat the location that is a short drive or bike ride to Freshfield Village. We went for spring break so less people were there which made it even more relaxing. The owners responded very quickly to any questions that we had about the property before renting. We are definitely planning on renting again.

An oasis

We stayed here with our family of five and highly recommend it. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had everything you would need and the place was spotless. The beach is a quick bike ride or walk (we rented bikes) and the pool and dock area are pristine. We didn’t swim as it was March, but did try the hot tub. I would recommend this place without hesitation. Thank you!

Wonderful vacation home

Riverhouse is a beautiful property. Updated kitchen and baths. Amazing decor for a rental property. Layout is perfect. Owners suite on one side.. 2 other beds and joint bath on other. Central living space had ample seating for us all! Property manager was reachable and immediately responsive!!

Riverhouse Stay

We come to Kiawah every year and this is one of the nicest properties we have rented. Lovely, well-kept property. Super comfortable beds. The only negative was the ceiling fan in one bedroom was so noisy that it couldn’t be used. Not really a deal breaker. Would definitely rent this property again.

Great House!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and well decorated. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Great location with only a short walk to the beach or the pool and a short bike ride to Freshfields.

Great stay!

We just got back from 4 days in Kiawah and had a great stay! Riverhouse is the perfect retreat for a family (and dogs) to get away for some quiet time. Location was great- community pool was really nice and proximity to restaurants was great. Would stay again!
