This beautiful home is located in Kawama Yacht Club, a gated community in the heart of Key Largo. Its many high-end finishes include stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a sizable island with stools, and beautiful bamboo floors. Guests will have access to free wifi and cable TV. Our guests are also invited to use the bikes, kayaks, and other water toys located at the unit. This end-unit is conveniently located directly in front of a saltwater lagoon and just steps from the pools and playground -- an excellent layout for families. The adults can watch the kids swim in the lagoon while relaxing on the balcony or the small beach.

Kawama Yacht Club's amenities include free parking for two cars, an on-site marina (with boat ramp), ocean-front access, 24-hour security, boat trailer parking, a saltwater lagoon, heated pools, a playground, a small sand beach, and tennis & pickleball courts.

Guests can go boating, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, or just relax in the tropical sun! Access to the Kawama marina ramp is free. Please let us know if you need a boat slip, and we will provide details. Please note that proof of insurance will be required for a minimum of 300K to bring a watercraft on the premises.

Kawama Yacht Club is minutes from John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, which provides many excellent recreational activities (boat rentals or charters) and is known worldwide for breathtaking scuba diving and snorkeling. Several great restaurants, including the Key Largo Fisheries Backyard Café, Pilot House, and Snooks, are minutes away. A grocery store is also located within 2 miles of the house. Between the on-site amenities and convenient access to some of Key Largo's best attractions, Kawama Yacht Club offers excellent value for your money. Beautiful location

The location is just beautiful with the fish and the lagoon right outside the door. We rally enjoyed swimming in the lagoon. The condo kitchen is well equipped. The listing is very accurate. We enjoyed our stay

Overall the place was nice. The only complaint we have would be the marina and boat ramp. You can only take your boat in or out during high tide. If you are not an experienced boat owner you would have an extremely difficult time with the marina. Other than that the stay was great.

Keys first timers, great family visit

This is a great family friendly place to stay. Very clean and well cared for. The pools and playground kept the kids (5 and 9) entertained. It is also well located to explore other local sites like, the dolphin rescue and founders park, and lots of places to eat, like C&C wood fire eats and the pilot house. Pilot house was my fave. The kitchen is equipped with your basics for cooking the off meal, like breakfast, but an upgrade, especially in the pans and cooking utensils, would be greatly appreciated. A good frying pan goes a long way. Sleeping arrangements were great for 4 adults (grand parents and parents) and 2 kids. The ground level bedroom could use puffier pillows and a softer mattress—but that is just me. Would I recommend this place to another family, yep! This place set a bar for our next family vacation to the keys.

Kawama Vrbo Key Largo

Great place with nice amenities. The location was close to various attractions and restaurants. The weather was fantastic. We had a group of five people, either from the Chicago or Pittsburgh area.

Wonderful stay

The place was very well appointed and very clean. The bathroom and bedroom on the 1st floor were very small but we managed. The rest of the house was so comfortable. We loved sitting on the porch and looking at the lagoon. The wonderful beach is a short walk. They do advertise pickelball courts but from what we could tell they were only tennis courts. There are other courts very close so we just used them. Highly re!

Very clean, quiet property. Great space for 6 adults with all essentials supplied. The only thing we had a problem with was the television as we could access only 2 channels. Instructions how to use the televisions would be helpful. Communication with the property owner was great!

Great choice

We had a wonderful time. The condo was nice and fit our 6 adults and 2 kids well. The property had lots to do. We could swim even on the cloudy, cool days since the salt water pool was heated. Well stocked cookwear, dishes, and utensils.We rented double kayaks and enjoyed our adventures on them as well as a visit to the turtle hospital in Marathon, and swim with dolphins in Key Largo. We were all sad to leave.

Fun getaway

We stayed at this property during Thanksgiving week 2023. The location is great, with direct access to the beach and lots of amenities. The townhouse was quite spacious as well, although the downstairs bathroom was a little small. The lagoon was a little dirty when we got there but it cleaned up after a couple days. Overall worth the stay, we wish we spent more time by the water and using the amenities, maybe next time.

Great location, clean and comfortable

Kawama ia a nice area. The lagoon was great for swimming and snorkeling on our lazy days. Plenty of grills to cook. Down at the beach area near the marina was pretty. The fisheries is close by and good food as well as a market. Quiescence dive shop was wonderful. Isis communicated well and everything was as listed. Well stocked kitchen. Great location!

Nice clean property. Had all the right things needed in a VRBO. However Key Largo is not a beach type setting. Beautiful water, but no access to enjoy without having a boat.

Key Largo Family Getaway

This property is a hidden oasis located in Key Largo. It has wonderful amenities and plenty of kid friendly activities on site, including a park, pools, and kayaks. Pennekamp is a 5 minute drive away and Islamorada is only a 25 minute drive away, and about 30 minutes by boat. The closest reef for snorkeling is Molasses which is absolutely breathtaking! If you are traveling with a boat it has an accessible ramp and slips that are available to rent upon request (plan ahead of time to secure a spot). We went during a busy holiday weekend and everything was accessible, including designated trailer parking which was a must for our travels, just plan on arriving a day ahead. The location and views were breathtaking, and we were even able to watch the sunrise from the kitchen window and outside balcony each morning. Isis is such a wonderful and communicative host and we had absolutely everything we needed and more for our family! Thank you for sharing your home and we can’t wait to visit again soon.

Fantastic!

We had a great time staying at this property in Key Largo! Check-in was extremely easy, the home is exactly as pictured, clean, and in great condition. The kitchen is very well stocked with cookware, utensils, etc. and we had everything we needed to make our stay convenient and comfortable. We met one of the owners during our stay who was very friendly and gave us great tips on restaurants in the area. The salt water lagoon was awesome and we were able to see many different fish. I highly recommend this property and wouldn’t hesitate to book a stay here again!

Jetty was highlight of the property

We chose this townhome because of the advertised water view. The lagoon was nice. But the jetty was the highlight of the trip. The townhome and property were immaculate. However, improvements could be made by installing a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, by increasing water pressure in bathrooms and installing exhaust fans in all three bathrooms.

Nice, comfortable, good cooking supplies

Nice unit with a well supplied spice drawer. Very comfortable for the 6 of us. Convenient parking immediately in front of unit. 3 bathrooms, 2 very small and none en suite. No time to use any of the sporting supplies, but was nice to know they were available. Not recommended for those with challenges climbing stairs as there are 3 floors. Large pavillion nearby, but BBQ was extremely dirty so decided not to use. Lots of mosquitos/nats in the area (not unique to the unit), bring bug spray.
