This is our 3rd stay at Alison’s View and have not been disappointed with anything Maintained to an excellent standard Lovely location - garage a plus and near local shop and town centre Easy access to walks and transport Would definitely recommend and will be back again!

Return Visit to Allison's View

A place we have visited before. The house sleeps four, is cosy, clean and very well equipped. It's closeness to the centre of Keswick is very handy (and also to Keswick Cottages, if required, and they are always very pieasant to deal with). There are two flights of stairs, which might deter some people, but the well equipped garage is a big plus.

Lovely house in good location

House was clean and spacious enough for 4 people. Good facilities including washing machine and drier. Off street parking in garage below the house. Good location, 5 mins walk from town centre and 1 minute walk from local convenience shop

Another great stay at Alisons View everything you need, garage no worries for parking your car, washing machine, tumble dryer no need to overpack car, and everything else you might need they have thought of. Location great too and handy store across the road. Look forward to next year.

Lovely Place in an ideal location

Alison's View is a lovely cottage in a great location in Keswick. The accommodation is well equipped with everything you need. The offroad parking in the garage was ideal and a great place to store dirty boots and wet coats. I would certainly stay there again

Mid-week stay at Alison’s View

Great weeks stay at Alison's View

Our 2nd stay in this homely house, conveniently situated in the centre of Keswick along with a large garage, so no parking fees. The house is comfortable and has everything you need for a self catering stay in the Lakes. Its easy & quick to take dogs to Fitz Park round the corner as there Is no garden. We had a house keeping problem which was resolved by Keswick Cottages immediately with no quibble. Can highly recommend a holiday at this house. We will return.

Nice stay at Alisons View

Had a great time as usual in Keswick,accommodation was excellent, everything we needed was provided, garage is brilliant especially with the parking in town being expensive and our big mondeo fitted in no problem. Stairs could be a problem mobility wise but we were fine with them. Normally stay in our caravan but with it being winter this was a nice change

A little gem

Alison’s View is perfectly situated in the town. The house is clean, comfortable and well equipped. I couldn’t have wished for more. The garage was a total bonus. We put the car inside and walked everywhere - no need to worry about parking or was the car safe. We’ll definitely look to see if Alison’s View is free when we next visit.

Great Hol home

Excellent holiday home been 5 times now, everything you need. Garage is amazing washing facilities(mucky paws..) washing mach,tumble dryer and clothes line if needed. Location is only 5mins from town, park and shops, plus a local shop across road. What else do you need!!

Alison's View, Return Visit.

This was a return visit for us. Alison's View is conveniently situated to enjoy all of Keswick's amenities' The house is cosy, comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The jewel in the crown (oddly) is the garage, an absolute bonus. This is extremely convenient, spacious and is as equally well equipped as the rest of the house. We intend to return!

Stay at Allison's view

Excellent location and garage very helpful. Only slight complaint that telly very basic. We came about 5 years ago and same telly. A smart TV would be a good improvement as on rainy days we could put something on, either Utube for kids or Netflix.

Excellent property

Alison's view is a compact property just off the centre of town, within easy walking distance of the town centre and parks. Well equipped for four people, you can either cook at home, by in from Booths supermarket or use any of the restaurants, pubs or takeaways in the town. It has the additional benefit of a (large) garage where the car sat and we either walked or used the excellent local bus service. Children's toys, games, high chair and even a buggy are there to use. An excellent property.

Return to Alison's View

We have just enjoyed our third visit to Alison's View. As before we found the house to be comfortable, clean and very cosy. from weather forecasts we expected a tricky week with snow - this fortunately never materialised. We enjoyed fine, cold weather during which the garage proved to be a real boon (no de-icing required!). The house is so handy for all the amenities in Keswick, we would certainly look forward to a further visit.

Alison's View

3 night break in November and Alison's View did not disappoint. Fab little cottage and we will probably come back at some time. Pro's: Great location, only a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of Keswick centre. The garage is a huge bonus as parking in Keswick centre is becoming harder every year. Parked up and never used the car until it was time to come home. Cottage is very well equipped and there are plenty of films and games to keep people entertained Con's: The fridge door needs some attention, it stays open slightly as the covering door is not seated correctly. The shower is not very powerful but ok. The bed is comfy but a little small for our preference. Summary: Really enjoyed our short break and will probably rebook at some time in the future. Lovely little cottage

Another great week in Keswick

This is our Second stay at Alison’s view and a good time was had by all. On the ground floor there is a garage (which are a premium in the Victorian streets of Keswick) It is well equipped with sink and washing facilities together with plenty of storage space to leave your walking equipment and toys, reading material and jigsaws for the adults.outside there is a small courtyard. The kitchen lounge areas are well equipped. The bedrooms both have large skylights which were great left open at night as there was a heatwave while staying and we enjoyed cool night’s sleep. Definitely be booking another stay in the future.
