Form over function

Stunning property and location let down by some design choices. Zero bedroom privacy and poor kitchen layout will prevent us from returning. But we enjoyed our stay and loved the design and styling. Very well stocked, including Leif products. Fantastic outlook over the valley, best appreciated when the property is fully opened up.

Could be tweaked to warrant the price

Setting is incredible. House is unique and has a wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately, I had to throw some dishes I pre prepared as the oven was filthy, not just a dirty. No way was I eating anything that came out of that. We ran out of gas and so had no hot water and stove top use. I personally would have appreciated a door to our room. Over all it was a good experience, just not sure its worth the price tag.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Long weekend get away for four couples. The house is in a great location, beautiful interiors and furniture. We had a great time. Downside is that there is no privacy to noise, while the bedrooms etc are gorgeous there are no ceilings and only curtains for doors. Would have been good to know that going in. Fridge is also small for a group of people, we all brought eskys to accomodate additional food and drink. Washing machine but nowhere to hang your clothes.

Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely relaxing time taking in our surrounds.The fireplaces internally and externally enhanced the environment providing ample warmth and ambience The kitchen was well equipped although we had planned to get lost in a few movies, the lack of internet service allowed us to engage more with one another and nature ... truly a place to escape the world ... thank you sky ridge

In the end disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property itself is beautiful set amongst beautiful bush land. However there were many things with the house and property management that failed. The oven was dirty and too small to use for a weekend away. The fridge also in old condition. The bedrooms offered no privacy with a curtain as a door and the master bedroom didn’t have a shower. The house itself was beautiful set on a lovely property. However the property mgt was terrible - there were no garbage bags so no way to dispose of waste. The was no kitchen bin and only two tiny outside bins. The property mgt expected us to dispose of our own rubbish but didn’t provide any garbage bags or way to get this done. Would not recommend.

A Grand Design home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the house. It was beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable, and clean. The only negative was that the bedroom walls don’t go up all the way which means you can hear the house guest noises. All good when it’s only adults (assuming no snorers) but not ideal when there are children.

Perfect getaway

Amazing modern home with breathtaking views overlooking the Valley. Wonderfully appointed and decorated, you have no reason for leaving during your stay. Great value & location. Lovely experience.

Beautiful property

Stunning property, perfect for small groups. All the mod cons, lots of room and a beautiful setting. It was easy to contact Jane during our stay and the owner was more than happy to help with any issue.

Perfect escape

We booked janes property for a group of busy mums to escape for a weekend and boy we were not disappointed. From the ease of booking and communication, to the pristine home and amenities, we literally did not have to leave the property once we arrived. Far enough away from town to feel serenity, close enough for morning breakky and coffee . Relaxing in the tub or enjoying mulled wine by the fireplace, we highly recommend to anyone wanting to unwind and switch off.

Sky Ridge Kangaroo Valley

Had a fantastic time with a group of friends at Sky Ridge. Loved the advantage of being able to open the glass doors and soak up the outside just as much as the inside. Lots of room to spread out as well as very comfortable communal spaces to enjoy meals together.
