The room I stayed in smelled of mildew. I requested to be moved within moments after arriving and was offered to have a dehumidifier to compensate for the smell. The room, overall, did not exude a clean feeling. The bathroom had something on the walls that looked like food that missed the trash can, and ants crawling on the floor. I have not seen a safety chain on a hotel door in many years, all having switched to the bar latch, but this one did...and it looked like a good yank would have pulled it right out. But the adjoining room had the safety bar latch...go figure. Overall, I was extremely disappointed and left well before my planned departure time. I should have spent the extra money and stayed elsewhere.

Poor service by hotels.com

It smelled like weed. Badly. The whole hotel. So we didn't take the room. They told me i had to contact hotels.com to get reimbursed and i tried for 3 days and never got to talk to a person or get any resolution. I rarely go on vacation because i can't afford to. One of the few chances i get to get away i had to pay for 2 hotel rooms for a 1 night getaway.

The rooms need a deep cleaning and some updating. Exhaust fan was filthy. Baseboards were VERY dusty, like they hadn't been touched in months. Stained bedspread and mattress. Non-skid strips in bathtub were half coming off and needed replacing. I usually only come for a quick overnight passing through Indiana. But I'm starting to not like it even for that.
