Hosts often times photoshop their properties to make them appear nicer or cleaner than they actually are, but not Michael. When we checked in, Michael's home was exactly as advertised and free parking was a true lifesaver and large enough to fit my large SUV. It was a spacious basement with clean floors, bedding, and towels, and clean appliances. The portable AC unit was a bit loud at night, but that's to be expected in a home that doesn't have central air. The neighborhood felt safe to walk around even later in the evening and there were so many restaurants and coffee shops within convenient walking distance, not to mention the Grove St. PATH Station that was only 10 minutes away. I would definitely consider Michael's home again if we're visiting family in Jersey City in the future.
