Character hotel with excellent restaurant

Gorgeous old town house converted into a hotel with marble ornamentation and magnificent rooms with high ceilings. Our restaurant meal was excellent, we had fish. The staff were most helpful. Recommended.

When you get to the property people greet you and worry about your car parking, how you feel, what you need, and after all of that is attended, you register. The hotel is as cozy as people working in it. The rooms are outstanding, with everything you need even if you forget something. I dont remember spending better nights than here! The restaurant deserves a Michelin star too! If I go back to that area of Spain, I will sure stay at the Palacio Garvey!

No car access in hotel street, street dug up, under construction, footbridge over gravel in front of entrance. See photos. Only 2 junior suites available, one at ground floor facing street construction, one at 2nd floor witk elevator only to first floor. We were given an ordinary double room at slightly lowe rate after complaining.

We arrived @ 2a or so. Hotel was under construction, limited elevator usage, unable to take us to our 2nd floor room. Male staff member who assisted us @ check in was very helpful. Outdated & improperly functioning thermostat...limited/no AC? Female guest attendant in morning was not very empathetic...said I should have read the book in the room or called the desk attendant at 3a. Decide for yourself but we won't stay at this hotel next time we're in the area

Besvikelse trots stor potential

Detta är ett centralt, litet hotell (endast 12 rum) med väldigt mysig och fin inredning. Tyvärr gjorde den i princip icke-fungerande ACn att det var svårt att sova. 25-26 grader på kvällen och 27-28 grader på morgonen trots ACn inställd på 17 grader imponerade inte. Detta påtalades på kvällen och en anställd på hotellet kom och tittade och kunde verifiera att vi inte gjort något fel med inställningen. Hade ACn fungerat hade vår upplevelse varit den bästa. Sköna sängar, fint rum, centralt, fin frukost osv. Inget av detta betyder något ifall man inte kan sova och i 27-28 graders värme i sovrummet är det svårt att sova. AC var ett viktigt kriterie vid valet av hotell. Utan fungerande AC och därmed dålig sömn blir vistelsen en besvikelse.

El hotel es precioso, el personal encantador, la suite muy confortable y bien decorada, el desayuno no es espectacular pero está bien y por último, la ubicación es perfecta. Si tengo que destacar algo, destaco la comodidad de la cama. Desde luego, si vuelvo a Jerez, optaría sin duda por este hotel.

We loved our stay at the hotel. Our room was beautiful (and palatial), and had great views over a town square. The hotel is in a great location, easy to get to by car, and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We also liked the complimentary breakfast (it would have been perfect if cooked options were also available). We appreciated the availability of (paid) parking close to the hotel, although space was tight and it was not always easy to get in and out. All in all, though, we loved the property and would definitely recommend it.

Zentral Lage und freundlicher Service

Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die hohen Decken lassen die Räume sehr großzügig erscheinen. Eine kleine Pause im Hotel Patio mit einem Café Lecche ist angenehm und ruhig. Die zentrale Lage zur Altstadt mit vielen kleinen Bars und Tapas Restaurants ist genial. Der Service im gesamten Hotel ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Rezeption organisiert auch gerne eine Besichtigung bei einer Sherry Bodega. Für das Auto gab es einen kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz - der Preis war angemessen.

I’ve stayed in this hotel on many occasions- always good and an excellent location. They handled Covid issues like breakfast well - with less drama than many hotels I’ve visited recently. I booked at the last minute and got a room with only a small window and no view which wasn’t ideal - but I was aware it was the last available.

Très très déçus. Le seul endroit qui est beau accueillant et classe de cet hôtel est le patio et hall d accueil Malheureusement les chambres ne sont pas à l image du reste. La salle de bain est hors d âge et dans un mauvais état . De plus il n y a pas d insonorisation chambre voisin couloir et portes qui claquent. Quant au petit-déjeuner il n est pas à l image d un 4 étoiles (que nous avons réservé sur nos 15 jours de voyage en Andalousie) Le ramequin de fruits est si petit que c est presque ridicule, aucun pain n est frais et c est juste du pain grillé qui doit être en trop du resto de la veille. Et puis la charcuterie 3 tranches de dinde sous vide posées dans une assiette. C est le pire endroit de notre voyage
