The host was very attentive, but the property was just not ready for occupancy. I asked for compensation for the first 2 days which were spent getting things fixed, but was turned down. Just a short list, there was more, first day, could not get in the unmanned gated community, the HVAC system went out, the Stove went out, kitchen faucet corroded not movable, only luke warm water in the shower, 2 towels left for 11 day stay, washer/dryer not working, garbage disposal not working so sink stayed backed up for first 5 days. Minimal kitchen wares, no mixing bowls or knives for cutting. Had to log the TV into the internet. Minimal counter space due to microwabe and big toaster oven sitting on counter. The host did respond, but we spent the first part of our vacation dealing with the problems and getting out of our space so he could fix things. Towards the end the stove and HVAC breaker kept tripping, I notified the host, but asked him not to come just so we could have the space to ourselves
