Good Location and Friendly Staff but...

Good value for money with respect to location and friendly staff. Also availability of a tasty meal (they have their own "café") were you can even get a beer was a good offering. However, the rooms are small and can do with an overhaul. They are clean though. I was there as it was close to a work appointment and needed to do some preparation however, the workspace in the room is minimal and made it hard to spread out comfortably. Certainly a good stop for tourists as the main drag into the CBD hot spots is a short 10 min walk away with many shopping centers around. As a business traveler I see a lot of hotels and from a business perspective, this one would be ranked as average.

The hotel did not advise me that I had to put a deposit on the room if I wanted to charge for things like room service. I had to use cash; it wasn't a problem but guests need to be advised when they check in. Otherwise it was a very good place to stay.

Booked this one for a weekend trip as it has a solid rating on Hotels.com but bad experience. Lots of ants on the desk, getting worse the next morning. Plus, mosquitoes in the room, got at least 3 bites on my back! Cups look dirty, towels a bit smelly. Overall cleanliness is only 1 star. Will not return sorry. Pros: cute room deco. Friendly staffs.

If this is a business stay, STAY AWAY! The traffic is hideous. And the wifi connectivity is by far the worst I have ever experience.

Visiting the museum in Central Jakarta

The hotel was convenient for visiting on foot the Satria Mandala museum in the vicinity. But in Jakart using a taxi between the airport and hotel or any destination was time consuming by the road congestion.
