Stunning deluxe beach front Playa Hermosa house with private pool, extensive Ocean view to watch the surfers and Mountain View from the top roof deck. Beach House located in the gated community of Hermosa Palms. This luxurious family friendly oceanfront beach house is just 10 minutes south of the surf town of Jaco. It is situated on a rare corner lot in a neighborhood, far from the bustle of city life, with privacy but feet away from a 7 mile long black soft sand beach that is known as one of Costa Rica's best surfing spots. It has beautiful ocean views from the front of the home and overlooks a turtle refuge. From the top deck you can see 360 degree views over Playa Hermosa beach and the mountain range.

The main level of this beach home is an open concept new kitchen/ dining and living space. It has a large front porch sliding glass doors that open to the beauty of Costa Rica. The sounds of the ocean waves and coastal breezes make this outdoor/ indoor space absolutely dreamy. Our new kitchen has stainless steel appliances, Quartzite counter top/island and opens to a formal dining room. The upstairs lounge area have a flat screen smart TV with Netflix and Amazon prime. The entire house has high speed internet with free WiFi for all the modern comforts of working remotely or just keeping in touch with friends. The third floor deck is furnished for family time to relax and watch the sunsets.

Each Bedroom is large and spacious to allow for both privacy and comfort. We recently purchased 3 king size beds, we provide new linens and towels. There are several primary bedrooms including one on the main floor for older guests that do not want to walk up the stairs. The other primary guest rooms are located on the second floor. Washer and dryer on property make for ease of washing clothes and daily cleaning service is available.

A one minute walk down the street provides access to a large community pool with gorgeous views of the ocean and a swim up bar and restaurant. Yo-Yo's is a local treasure and provides the best food and hand- made cocktails in town!

As your hosts, Marie and Roberto, are world class surfers and are happy to set you up on activities such as zip line, ATV's, horseback riding, fishing, white water rafting, hiking, surf lessons, crocodile tours, monkey tours and so much more during your stay. They speak 5 languages (English, French, Spanish, German and Italian) and welcome families and surfers with open arms. Come for the relaxation, but stay for the good vibes

Playa Hermosa beach is a world class surf break and pumps the most consistent waves in all of Costa Rica. There are amazing breaks for all levels of surf and swim, both north and south of our home. (We're happy to arrange surf lessons in Jaco for beginners!) Manuel Antonio National Park is a 45 minute drive south and you can see monkeys, sloths and a myriad of jungle animals on the hikes.

Please note there is a 10pm noise ordinance and we require all of our guests to be respectful to our home and our community. Anyone that does not comply with our house rules, will be asked to leave. "Pura Vida" is a way of life here and although we do not allow overnight guests who are not renters or loud parties- we want you to enjoy yourselves and relax at our home.

Amazing house!!

This was our 3rd year in a row staying in the Hermosa Palms development (3rd house)- and it did not disappoint! We keep coming back to this community since it is beautifully maintained, on the beach, safe, and most of all because of Yoyo's restaurant at the community pool! Yoyo's food and drinks are out of this world!This house is perfect - we had 5 adults and 3 kids, and we had plenty of room to spread out. There are 2 spacious living rooms to hang-out in, and the kitchen and bedrooms are great as well. We loved the large shaded outdoor space and pool. We also loved the short walk to the community pool.We have rented many homes through-out the years and I will have to say that Roberto was the best property manager we have ever dealt with. We had a couple of minor issues with ACs and a toilet, and not only did he answer immediately, but he had someone there to fix the issues within the hour (even on a Sunday night!!!).Roberto recommended Chef Denis, and we were so impressed with our meal that we had Chef Denis and Chef Melanie come back a few days later. The food was so fresh and delicious! We would definitely book this house again!

Costa Rica beach house!

Amazing house a very short walk to the beach. In a small gated community with community pool and very cute little swim up bar/restaurant with great vibes. The community pool was a huge bonus travelling with kids. Ocean great for surfing but known to have rip currents. We boogie boarded and waded around with kids aged 10-16. Hospitality was amazing and Roberto answered questions quickly and had great recommendations for guided tours/food etc. Would stay here again. Only suggestion would be to maybe have a couple boogie boards/beach umbrella for use at the house.

Amazing Family Christmas Vacation

We spend our Christmas holiday here as a family (my husband's parents, my brother in law/sis in law and nephew, and myself, husband and 6 year old twins) and had an absolute blast. The house was absolutely perfect for us with plenty of space, comfortable rooms and quiet places if you wanted solo time away. Also a plus was that my inlaws could use the first floor bedroom/bath so they didn't have to use the stairs. Roberto was an amazing and helpful host, who got in touch with me shortly after booking and gave me recommendations for everything we could possibly need (chef, yoga instructor, masseuse, drivers, etc). He arranged for seamless transport for our 3 groups from the airport to the house, and helped us get cars into town when we wanted dinner out (the restaurants he recommended were also incredible). We enjoyed the pool, food and drinks at YoYo's and the beautiful beach. Getting into town to Jaco for groceries and shopping was an easy uber ride away. The location can't be beat and we hope to return soon!

Relaxing Multi-Family Vacay

Amazing property that worked great for three families with kids ranging in age from 1-9. The pool was a highlight, so relaxing, lots of shallow/wading areas made for toddlers - all of our kids loved it. YoYo’s Bar was fantastic. Great food, drinks, and community vibes that made us feel at home and part of it even as visitors. Roberto (property manager) was welcoming, easy to get ahold of and super responsive, his guidance made our stay so easy. Can't wait to come back! Highly recommend.

Awesome place!

If there was a 5 star + rating, this place would be worthy thanks to the spectacular communication of property manager, Roberto, and the convenience of this stay. We traveled as a family of 6, including young kids, and the hosts went above and beyond to accommodate our logistics. Roberto was willing to assist with even basic questions throughout our stay and had a lot of information to share about the local area. In addition to the great hosts, this house is perfectly situated in a safe, beautiful space, with great proximity to Jaco for attractions, and the Hermosa Palms beach club where there was similarly friendly service and great food and drinks. This house was one of the closest in the gated community to the ocean and the beach club. I have already recommended this community to friends traveling in groups.

Birthday Bash

Everything was fabulous! Roberto was extremely helpful before and during our trip...ideas for different activities, places to eat and everything else. We had a blast ziplining at Chiclets, boating on the Brisa Elegante (snorkeling wasn't worth it), hanging out with monkeys/seeing waterfalls with GO Wild Adventures. Yoyo's was phenomenal...they even made a special birthday dessert on our last night! The house was amazing...ocean views (loved watching the surfers), short walk to the pool/Yoyo's, and the beautiful black sand beach. It was the perfect place to spend my 50th birthday with my Framily!

Wonderful Property

The house is as it appears in the photos. Incredible view of the sea. the house is extremely beautiful and comfortable and the views are spectacular. Perfect

The house was perfect for our stay including my husband and myself, four children, a former Tican au pair and my in-laws. We ate outside at night with the sound of waves crashing. The pool and restaurant were a treat at the end of a very active day. Lastly, we were close enough for surfing, riding, rafting, rappelling waterfalls, zip lining and boat tours 😀. Pura vida!

This has been by far the best experience I have ever had on vacation. This house is beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked, the furniture is comfortable and creative, the bedrooms are quiet and separated, and the showers are luxurious. The wall of windows on the back of the house looks directly at the pacific, which is just 50 yards away from where you sleep. Macaws pair up and land in the trees on the property and the swim up bar, which is a 2 minute walk away from the back door. If there were ever a paradise, we've discovered it.

Spacious and clean in an unbeatable location!

What a lovely stay we had at this VERY spacious home. So many places to relax and soak up all the natural allure of the exceptionally beautiful surroundings. Scarlet Macaws every day eating from the trees just beside the balcony, horses playing in the field in front of the house, turtles hatching on the private beach. The house is located just steps to the ocean and the beach club that serves up some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! Plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen, and beds galore! What a bonus to have the bunk beds for all the kids we had traveling this trip. They loved it. There was even a little kids play park in the super safe, gated and secure neighborhood. From the rooftop deck overlooking the ocean to the double master bedroom shower and expansive porches, one could hardly ask for more! Thanks so much for an unexpected last minute joyful stay. We’ll definitely be back to stay longer next time! Pura vida to the maxxxxx ♥️

Beautiful home

My family and I adore this neighborhood and this home was perfectly nestled between the beach and the pool. It was truly a few steps from both! Our views were spectacular from the 2 decks and the Scarlett macaws ate breakfast everyday right outside our windows. Thank you for letting us stay in your home for the week- we’ll be back!
