Grand Targhee Resort felt like a hidden gem. It is quiet, peaceful, and unbelievably beautiful, with so many activities to enjoy. We took the Dreamcatcher chairlift, which gave us a rare and stunning view of the backside of the Grand Tetons. It felt much less crowded than Grand Teton National Park itself, making the experience even more special. Truly a secret spot worth visiting.

Great little resort. Clean, comfortable bed and linens. Great staff. However, it is NOT convenient to Teton National Park. It’s a 2 plus hour drive over a mountain pass and then on to park.

It wasn’t ideal to stay here while visiting the Grand Tetons National Park because it’s about an hour and 20 minute drive but we made it work. It was a great stay! Loved staying at the Sioux Lodge because the parking is right in front of your door. You do have to take the stairs if you are on the 2nd floor. The room was very clean and we loved the balcony. We also had a refrigerator and microwave that was really helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

We booked a lodge room. It was so tiny. We booked double queen but beds were like full zise and not queen. The mattress was so bouncy it was not at all comfortable...congested and carpet was stinky and bathroom shower, sink height were so so short for even a 5ft person. I would never go back here.

The room was sufficient for our needs, although, this building was probably on the lower end of the buildings on the property. Updating definitely needed. It was advertised as no a/c and fans were provided. The nights were cool enough that a/c was not needed, but a simple window unit might be welcomed in the warmer months. It was quite a distance from areas we visited. There was a newer building that might be a better option next time. A unique ski resort that I’m sure is very busy in the winter months.

Our room (209) was very dirty. The nightstand was covered with what looked like soda. The carpet was filthy. All the painted elements were chipped and stained. The towels and linens were clean. The food in the restaurants was fine but way overpriced. Unfortunately you have no options without driving the six miles into Driggs.
