From arriving to departure everything was EXCELLENT !! We were greeted as if we were family and Jordan looked after our every wish. The grounds are spectacular and it is nice that you don't need to be a mountain goat to get around unlike other places in Zihua. The proximity to multiple restaurants and short walk to the beach is very special. It usually takes me 3 days to decompress yet I was chilled right out after 24 hours. Really enjoyed our short stay and definitely recommend Solez....we will definitely be back. Again, a special shout out to Jordan who seemed to go above and beyond !!! Many Thanks, A&J

The staff was friendly and available, unlike other similar places where you have to hunt down someone who speaks English just to give you an extra pillow. The grounds were small but extremely well-kept and beautiful. Two small pools, in excellent condition. They charge you 50 extra pesos to get pots, pans and dishes for the small outdoor kitchenette. It's nice though. The hot shower worked great, the beds were hard, like everywhere else in Mexico, but we slept well. Wifi is slow at times but decent. AC worked well, rooms were very clean, no mold. Close walk to some good restaurants, the beach and importantly, and OXXO just down the street. Taxis hover around the street corner constantly so no problem with transport. Also combi's come by regular.

Beautiful grounds and the area is close to everything. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Restaurants nearby excellent food and easy walking distance. Transportation readily available. Our room was spacious and airy. We found the beds were too firm for us. The bathroom had intermittent FOUL sewer smell and the shower was impossible to regulate. The water was either non existent or scalding mid shower.

I have stayed here twice and will come back. It's a nice laid back property, now with a second larger swimming pool in the back of the main building. The staff is friendly and attentive. I haven't taken advantage of the mini-kitchen that is part of the terrace or balcony room. For nearby food, make sure you check out Jungle Pizza around the corner for a great thin crust wood-fired pizza. Also, there is a good Mexican restaurant, Las Adelitas. For great coffee, UMMA is about two blocks away and features a craft shop with high-quality handmade gifts.

Amazing property. My friend and I went for six days. The grounds are beautiful and there are two pools. You can walk everywhere even if you want to go to the main town. Bring some good walking shoes/sandals though if you do that. Close to La Ropa and I recommend Jungle Pizza which is around the corner for a unique pizza experience in Mexico. Would definitely stay again!

Solez in Zihuatanejo

Solez is a lovely property, amid tall trees and flowers everywhere. You feel as if you were in a jungle. It is not on the beach, La Ropa is an easy 10 minute walk. We did not mind at all since we prefer watching all the birds that populate the place.

Good water pressure in the shower. Limited hot water. No restaurant on property. Bed was comfortable. No blackout shades so the room got light at 5:45 am. That was very annoying. It too 3 requests to get 2 extra pillows. The 2 pools on property were fine. A little dirty from local vegetation blowing in but other than that clean. Definitely a place to locals stay at. Overall, it was fine but nothing special.
