Relaxing stay

This was out 3rd stay. The condo and the property are well cared for. The staff, from security to the front desk to the restaurant are lovely and very helpful. The team managing the condo are very responive in answering any questions. The condo location is great and adjacent to the marina which has a small sundry and also a liquor store which is an easy walk. Walking home from dinner out in Ixtapa in the evening felt very safe. Recommend spending the day at La Perla at La Ropa beach and taking the boat from Play LInda to Ixtapa island. Will return again!

Great Views!

We enjoyed the rooftop location of this condo. Sunrises were amazing - and had many whale sightings! Close to restaurants, convenience stores, the marina. Located right on beach for daily walks!

Week in paradise

Everything was great. Just a few comments 1. Door bell did not work 2. In main bedroom toilet paper holder ready to fall off. 3. Shower mat in shower to prevent slipping 4. Handicap rail for shower to support everyone. 5. Hot water heater went out, but maintenance fixed in a timely manner. 6. Would be nice to have a permanent fixture to hang towels.

Great family trip

Had aged in-laws with limited mobility stay with us. This place was great for all the family. View was incredible. We will definitely try to stay here again. Note: not a hit against property since lots of Mexican toilets are the same way but had to use plunger often on toilets.

Birthday Celebration

This penthouse is absolutely breathtaking. The property itself is amazing. From the staff at the front desk, to the restaurant staff and amenities. The staff in the administration office are very pleasant. The view from the condo balcony is gorgeous. To sit in the privacy of your own balcony pool, listening to the ocean waves, stunning. The condo has 3 bedrooms, perfect for 6 to 8 people. Property is quiet. We loved the fact that you must go there security staff to gain access to the property. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great place!

Really enjoyed the place! Very open , would be great for a family or friends. The private pool is fabulous with a great view. Very much enjoyed the location. Easy walk to the marina, and a decent walk into Ixtapa (walked by trees with many iguanas hanging out). Looking forward to our next trip!! Thank you!!

Lovely Penthouse

We had a lovely stay in the penthouse overlooking the ocean. Ian is a super-host, and very easy to reach. It was great that he granted us an early check-in. He even got us a crib for the baby. (Thanks so much for that). It was a great help that the condo was cleaned twice a week. We are tennis lovers and enjoyed the lovely tennis court, also enjoyed the stunning swimming pool. (I have to say it is a challenge to find an umbrella and pool chairs by the pool) Would be great if Bay View Marina can find a solution to this problem. We had a fabulous stay and would love to come back in future.

Great with great views

Just my husband and I stayed here. We loved having a pool on our deck. So peaceful playing our own music and no need to find a lounge chair around the community pool. A great bonding experience with a wonderful view. And added bonus was bi-weekly pool maintenance by Felix and cleaning service by Abby included with our stay. There is an on-site restaurant but you are located within walking distance to many other restaurants and shops. If you don’t want to walk, there is easy access to taxi service.

Nice beach front apartament with terrific view

Nice apartament on the 18th floor. Full ocean view from main bedroom, terrace and pool. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Great linens and towels. The apartment needs an update and some maintenance. Really old refrigerator with a rust stain and some bad smells from the kitchen sink. Also, they should take cleaning and sanitizing much more seriously, specially in the middle of a pandemic. Other than that, it's a good apartment to spend some time with family and friends. The building is great, beachfront, it has adult and kid's pool. A nice cafe restaurant with a really good quality.

The most magnificent view ever!

We cannot say enough about the breathtaking view from this condo. The outdoor space and pool just made our vacation. The beach was fantastic, the condo building and amenities were excellent. Highly recommend. We only wish we could’ve stayed another week or more! Next time.

Fabulous vacation!

We have been to Ixtapa many times and always stayed in a hotel. This year we went with our 2 adult daughters and decided it would be fun to have a condo to stay in. This condo was awesome and we loved staying at this end of the beach-much quieter! The condo is well decorated and the cleaners came mid week and did a fabulous job. Glynnis is really great at staying in touch and the onsite people are very helpful-we will definately return.

What's not to love?

Arriving at the onset of the NCAA tournament with three of our UWMadison grads, the setting couldn't have been better. We were able to turn the tv toward the veranda (turned off the AC of course), plug a computer into the big screen tv and watch the basketball games while sitting in the dipping pool. Heaven!! Check in went smoothly. We lunched at the BVG restaurant, loaded up on cervezas at the Marina liquor store half a block away and watched basketball while enjoying the beautiful view, hot weather and sunshine. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were perfect. Beds were really comfortable, showers were great, closets were plentiful, books were available to read, kitchen appliances were up to date and easy to use, and on top of that, the condo was immaculate . Loved the huge table for meals and games. (The only thing I would add, would be a light over the sink - but that wasn't even a problem as it's lighter longer and really not an issue.) We taxied to the "Commercial" to buy groceries a couple of times. Their bolilo rolls are made fresh everyday and are outstanding - perfect for a quick sandwich when all you want to do is be on the beach. Later in the week we learned of the "Mercado". This is the place to shop. Every kind of fish imaginable laid out on ice and filleted upon request. Fresh fruits and vegetables, chicken, eggs, etc... Fabulous place to go if you like to cook!! We cooked most evenings but enjoyed, family-owned, El Arrayon in Zihuatanejo and the Smoke Shack in Ixtapa. Ixtapa is close enough to walk but busses and taxis are available in front of the condo. And I must mention the beach.... Gorgeous! Not only for walking but the waves were huge!! If you're a pool lover, this is your POOL! A six inch deep perimeter allows you to be on your stomach watching the waves or on your back sunning. It's the best! It's even big and long enough for laps. There are plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas and tables on the pool deck and on the beach. So happy we found your condominium on VRBO. We had a fabulous vacation!! THANKS! As my sons said.... "why would you go anywhere else"?

Superb penthouse

Cannot beat the views from the penthouse. Specially when relaxing in the jacuzzi in the balcony. Cannot wait to get back! The photos posted cannot compete with reality. We were truly impress with the confort and spaces of the apartment. The property had a few items that should be better maintained. However, the administrator resolve them quickly and with excellent service. Certainly we will come and rent again this property and recommend it to our friends.

Beautiful Penthouse with a great view

We stayed at BVG Marina for the second year in a row, and will definitely be back there next year. The PH4 South penthouse unit was great! Spacious, nice well stocked kitchen (although cooking was not our priority) with fridge/freezer with ICE MAKER, 3 nice sized bedrooms all with their own private bathroom with shower. The view is one of the best in the complex. Being on the 18th floor was not an inconvenience at all, with the elevator service being quite fast. The bedrooms were in 3 opposite corners of the unit, so there was good privacy. The master had direct access to the main balcony, and a second had it's own small balcony (which had the best sunset view). The plunge pool on the balcony was a nice place to cool off with a beer/cocktail at the end of a long day on the beach. The living area was large and had plenty of comfortable seating and a nice flat screen TV and DVD player. Nice washer/drier in a separate quiet room, and plenty of hot water. Nice air conditioning to counter the 90 degree outdoor temps. The pool area at BVGM is large, very well kept, and has plenty of loungers and umbrellas. It is not a hotel, so no screaming kids running around. The staff at the front desk, the pool/beach area, and the restaurant were great. Always remembering you and your favorite food and drinks. Service was pleasant, fast and frequent. Glynnis was excellent to rent from. She was always available with quick responses to any questions/concerns we had about the facility. Checking in and out was extremely fast and easy. From the first contact to rent her property through the entire stay, she made everything easy. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wishes to have a great time on a great beach in Ixtapa.
