Privacy in Paradise
Loved our stay, and would definitely book this place again. A few things to note that would be nice to know ahead of booking:
The pool is not heated. We never used it, as it only got up to 80 and the hottest day when we were there in feb. During warmer seasons, it wouldn’t be an issue.
The hot water is very limited for showering. You have maybe 3-4 min of hot water.
We really enjoyed having a maid come and make our bed every day (much like staying at a resort) but keep in mind they don’t come on the weekends. If that’s important to you, book accordingly.
Remember, flushing any paper products is a no go. In case that’s new to you, be prepared for that reality.
This all being said, the location of this can’t be beat. It’s in the the quiet end of the island. We loved waking up for the sunrise, listening to the waves crash onto the rocks below, while drinking our coffee.
The other random thing… the water pump to the upstairs unit is noisy, and seemed loudest in the bedroom. I turned on the bedside fan on high so I had some white noise, and that helped. Maybe a note to travelers who might care… a sound machine might be a nice accessory!
Highly recommend renting a golf cart, as there’s not a lot of restaurants in walking distance (a few, but the ones we enjoyed were a 5-10 min drive)
The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with basics, and we felt spoiled to have so much privacy in such a beautiful spot.
Avoid the all inclusive scene. Stay here!
