Dated but still enjoyable
Stayed at the Craiglands on the nights of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It was a bit sad to see such a great hotel from years gone by looking so dated. Even so it did not stop us enjoying our stay. All the staff from checking in to checking out were very polite and friendly. The room we had was clean and spacious. The bathroom was roomy with an excellent shower over the bath. New towels were provided daily. Overall an enjoyable 2-night break.

Where do I begin….30 mins to check in….room absolutely shaking with noise due to disco below…go down to complain and met with screaming guests swearing for same reason…rude manager…and a guest so drunk they were unconscious in the reception area ..all this with 4 children with me!
