Welcome to Juliastugan at Hemgården in Storsätern — this is where your journey into the Grövelsjöfjällen and Gränslandet truly begins.
Hemgården in Storsätern is a genuine farm with a rich history, set in a scenic location located by Övre fallet (a waterfall), with direct access to Grövelsjöfjällen (the Grövelsjö Mountains’) hiking trails, cross-country ski tracks, fishing, snowmobile trails, and local shops.

Hemgården has welcomed visitors since the 1920s and was one of the first guest properties in Storsätern and the Grövelsjö area.

We offer houses and cabins of various sizes for rent, along with what may be Dalarna’s smallest camping ground, featuring pitches for motorhomes and caravans.

Here you will find a welcoming and authentic property with modern, updated standards, with the tranquility and adventure of Grövelsjöfjällen and Gränslandet just around the corner.
