The staff were helpful. The reservation and check in were easy. It was quiet at the hotel. An older redone property but the walls were thick and it wasn't noisy! Comfy beds.

1st the positive. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were fresh. AC and Heating worked well. The negatives were that we were given a room right next to the highway and it was loud. They had plenty of rooms not sure why? Only 3 other cars in the parking lot the whole time we were there. The blinds by the bathroom were broken. They really need to do some upgrades and repairs.

1st room was already occupied when it showed in computer to be available and staff member had both keys to room. Next room had 2 square holes in both corners that opened up directly into the roof. You could see the pipes, insulation and plywood. Finally got a room and there were 2 square size holes in each corner on the wall itself that you could see piping, but at lea a t it was the wall and not direct access to room. We were on the back side of the property and there were no lights to be able to see down the walkway to your room. Only lights were at each end where stairs were. Overall horrible experience. I felt unsafe very dissappoibted that they allowed those rooms to be rented when they weren't safe. Would appreciate my money back.

Courteous and efficient, friendly staff. The room was spotless, spacious and provided good rest and beds. The bathroom has been renovated and they provided plenty of towels. The only real problem was they have not rehung a curtain rod, so there is no place to hang your clothes. That needs to be fixed, but otherwise it was a great stay for an overnight.

Needs updating. Basic things like an USB charge port is required. Toilet was running, needs flapper replacement. Hot water in the sink was luke warm. Water from the spout could be diverted to the shower.

Upon checking in given a room that had not been cleaned from last person stay or the person was possibly still there just not in room. There was some personal belongings visible. room number was not on door has been written on with pencil. Returned to lobby, assistant was not there front door to lobby locked. After appx 15 more minutes the assistant returned, apologized and issued another room. The room was semi cleaned, plain, water leaked really bad in tub, the outside door going into room was filthy as most were noted to be. I’d have to say just based on the price this should have been expected. The name “ The New Lodge” was very misgiving. After arriving I noticed that I had stayed at the same place over 3 years ago and at that time it was better kept and definitely in better shape. I definitely do not recommend this place and will not be returning as a guest.

Average Stay

Leaking water at sink handle all over counter when water was turned on. When refrigerator would go into defrost, it leaked on the floor. Lamp receptacles didn’t work most of the time. A couple of pillowcases were stained yellow. Balcony lights outside door were not operable. Bad driveway and rear parking area needs work.
