The host cancelled when I landed in Tenerife

Apparently the flat is managed by a person who double booked it. When I landed in Tenerife alone in high season, my booking was cancelled and I had to find an alternative on my own. It was the first and last time I will use Vrbo.

Nous avons passĂ© un sĂ©jour contrastĂ© dans ce bel appartement. Les + : Localisation, le centre ville est tout proche et mĂȘme si cela monte pour rentrer chez soi, on s'y sent bien avec une superbe vue, depuis l'appartement mais aussi depuis la terrasse partagĂ©e juste au dessus. ProcĂ©dure d'arrivĂ©e trĂšs bonne avec vidĂ©os pour accompagner et dĂ©crire les lieux. Appartement bien ventilĂ© avec les ouvertures et moustiquaires Ă  toute les fenĂȘtres Les - : propretĂ© d'ensemble (pas d'aspirateur pour un logement louĂ© un mois c'est pas bon) donc poussiĂšre constamment dans le logement, si vous voulez que ce soit propre il faut passer par le gestionnaire qui fera passer quelqu'un et malheureusement, c'est pas mieux fait aprĂšs Literie un peu ferme pour nous, cela reste Ă©quipĂ© avec du IKEA d'entrĂ©e de gamme, prĂ©voir des sur-matelas Ă©ventuellement pour monter en gamme Malheureusement nous avons un dĂ©gĂąt des eaux, qui nous a pĂ©nalisĂ© durant le sĂ©jour (gros travaux - changement de plomberie avec mur Ă  casser - donc poussiĂšre & gravats dans le logement) Dans l'ensemble gĂ©rĂ© par le gestionnaire de l'appartement, mais cela nous a immobilisĂ© quelques jours afin d'ĂȘtre surplace Enfin un message pour la plateforme Abritel/Vrbo qui n'a pas Ă©tĂ© d'une grande aide, nous ne repasserons pas eux, car en cas de soucis, soit vous gĂ©rer vous mĂȘme, soit vous n'aurez rien.

TrÚs belle expérience !!!

Nous avons passĂ©s 10 jours fantastiques Ă  TĂ©nĂ©rife dĂ©but avril. L'appartement est trĂšs agrĂ©able et correspond tout Ă  fait Ă  l'annonce. La propriĂ©taire Matija est trĂšs disponible pour rĂ©pondre par message aux questions et a prĂ©vu de belles petites attentions pour notre arrivĂ©e. La vue sur la ville d'Icod, la mer et El Teide Ă  l'arriĂšre depuis le toit terrasse juste au dessus de l'appartement est magnifique ; nous y avons mangĂ© tous les jours. L'appartement est situĂ© au dernier Ă©tage d'un petit immeuble de 4 niveaux. La montĂ©e quotidienne des escaliers ne nous a pas gĂȘnĂ©. Nous avons toujours pu garer notre vĂ©hicule louĂ© (fortement conseillĂ© pour dĂ©couvrir l'Ăźle) au pied de l'immeuble. Icod est une belle petite ville trĂšs peu touristique (ce qui nous a plu), accrochĂ©e Ă  la montagne et trĂšs pentue. La mer n'est pas si proche, nous sommes descendus une fois Ă  pied mais c'est long et fatiguant depuis l'appartement et donc pas trĂšs rĂ©aliste. Nos coups de coeur : playa del Socorro, le village de Masca, Charco del Viento (piscine naturelle d'eau de mer, nous y avons pratiquĂ© un peu de snorkeling), la Orotava petite ville prĂšs de Puerto de la Cruz et bien sĂ»r le sublime parc national el Teide. Nous avons moins aimĂ© certaines parties trĂšs touristiques au sud- ouest mĂȘme si le soleil y est permanent et la tempĂ©rature plus Ă©levĂ©e. Bref si vous souhaitez dĂ©couvrir TĂ©nĂ©rife, sa nature, son authenticitĂ©, un peu Ă  l'Ă©cart des zones trop touristes, cet appartement et sa localisation sont top !
