The lobby is under construction. Check in and breakfast staff were fantastic. But the room smelled like cigarette smoke and the carbon dioxide alarm was beeping. Front desk told us to just take the battery out. The room did not look dirty, but didn’t feel clean. Definitely didn’t smell clean. Bed was comfortable. It would have been fine without the smell. Wouldn’t stay here again, unfortunately.

The place was in the middle of a major remodel. The rooms are in need of an upgrade. The air conditioner made everything in the room feel very wet. Had I known all of this I would not have booked and paid in advance.

Great budget option.

Room was renovated and very clean. Breakfast was full Breakfast 😋 the outside is not that clean, the stairway and the hallway was dirty, i guess because of the renovation. So overall is a great option for a night or two.

The beds were so uncomfortable my toddler couldn’t even stay asleep. The ac is a wall unit even in remodeled rooms and it is very weak for Alabama weather. We were hot and miserable. The property felt very unsafe and ghetto, people outside smoking weed late at night.

The room was quiet and clean. A good value for the price. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous. There is also a hot breakfast in the morning. Its convenient to major attractions in the area. There were some renovations going on, with material laying around the yard, but I did not hear any noise due to the construction.

Room is old and major signs of wear

Pros: friendly woman at check in. There’s a sushi restaurant attached to the hotel that we ate at. Good breakfast. Cons: the room is old and shows major signs of wear. There was a large crack in the ceiling. The bathroom is so tiny that you barely have enough space to move around. Overall, I think the room should’ve been priced about $40 less than they are.
