Extraordinary place! It is located in the middle of nowhere, a 15 min drive from Stratford. We chose the place because of the presentation at Vbro and the remote location. Our expectations were not even satisfied but exceeded! The holiday flat is located in the ground floor. Grant, the host, lives upstairs. You will find a very comfortable living area and a really great kitchen. It is called a B&B, so you will find a selection of cereals, milk, juice and some cookies in sufficient amounts for your stay. Of course there is a selection of tea and to top it a Nespresso machine w/ a milk frother!There are a lot of farm animals there; sheep, deer, hens. Grant offer some food, so if you like you can feed all the animals yourself. I imagine that this will be quite exiting for kids!Grant is a very emphatic host, supported us giving hints and answering our questions even before we arrived. We appreciated that very much.The best thing was he enabled us to see Kiwis in the wild! We would never managed it w/o his guidance ant his powerful red light :)P.S. The whirlpool is a great relaxation after a exhausting hike at the breathtaking Mt. Taranaki!
