The Hideaway - Your Perfect Getaway Vacation

Lakeview home on the hilltop of Lake Catherine. Great location in Hot Springs in gated Diamond Head community with access to amenities such as golf course, pool, tennis/basketball courts and more! Deli store located at front gate for food and necessities. Secluded but spacious rooms inside with a large back deck with a hot tub to relax and enjoy the amazing lake views!

Close to Catherine State Park to rent kayaks, hike and explore! Hot Springs uptown only 20 mins away. Your getaway awaits!
The space
Upon arriving at the Airbnb, the home is situated at the end of the street. The beginning of the driveway is located on the street but you will need to either drive down the driveway (caution it is steep, but accessible with any car) to park in front of the home, or park near the garage and walk down the driveway.

Two cars can easily park at the end of the driveway. Additional cars are suggested to park at the top near the garage.
Guest access
The Diamondhead Community is a gated neighborhood. Upon check-in you will be given instructions how to access the gate.

*Note that we prefer check in to be before 10pm. Guests may check in earlier than 4 as well, if available.

Once arriving at the home, you will be given 2 gate cards to use during your stay for easy access in and out of the gate. There will be a $20 charge if a gate card is lost .

Terrible property upkeep. If your over a certain age and have a small pet, it is treacherous! The leaves were so deep in an area where we COULD walk a little our small dog could not go there because leaves were up to her belly. We had to walk up a 40 degree hill to a unlit area to walk the dog. NO LIGHTING and one little flashlight was dimmer than my phone. The inside was minimum at best. If your over a certain age this is not fore you! They say fully stocked kitchen. With what might I ask? very very little. TV is old and will not mirror your phone. Very limited as to what you can watch. So we watched our ipads. Was a very unwelcoming property. Never been so glad to get out of a place before. We were gone by 8 am. Please ask all the questions before you go. A few utensils a few pans a little foil, salt and pepper. The grill was discus ting. Wanted to grill but it was so nasty and we were NOT going to clean it. I would not even rate it 1 star if I had a choice. Don't waste your money unless they make big improvements. Check and triple check before you rent. If you are over 50 don't even consider it!!

Family summer vacation

We loved the property! Great location and great hosts. The property was exactly what my family wanted. The neighborhood was quiet and had regular visits from the deers. We didn’t use the golf course but we did go to the pool and loved it. The hosts thought of everything we would need. Enjoyed every night playing card and dice games. 100% would recommend! Oh and the view was AMAZING!
