This property is absolutely beautiful! 7 of us came together to enjoy a weekend of scalloping and kayaking. The Hampton House had more than enough space for everyone. The home was clean and very accommodating. The boat docks were close by for our scalloping trip which made getting there early in the morning a breeze! We had so much fun meandering through all the small inlets off the river which is located right behind the home. The house had 5 kayaks, paddles, and life vests for our use! We even kayaked to Monkey Island and saw 3 spider monkeys playing on their island, eating fruit, and swinging in the trees. From there we paddled up to Crumps Landing for some lunch. All were so close to the house! We could not say more positive things about this home, its location, and the host. All were top notch!! I can't wait to visit the Hampton House again. This will be our go-to place for years to come!

Five couples rented the Hampton House for a reunion fishing trip. Spacious rooms, tidy, plenty of sitting room inside and out. Owner responsive. Would use again.

Perfect Vacation for 3 Generations

Large and comfortable waterfront estate. Convenient for scalloping, fishing and visits to the springs. Large Bedrooms with lots of bathrooms. Kitchen well appointed. We loved it.

We love the Hampton House!

Can't wait to come back! This home is massive, property is gorgeous. Perfect for our scalloping trip, put boats in right down street at public ramp and kept at the house, the bridge was easy to get under, so close to everything. Super easy check in and check out. Thanks Hampton House!

Place was awesome. Huge house, very well designed, lots of extra cots to accommodate additional guests if needed. We had a total of 11 staying there and it could’ve easily fit another family. Awesome location right on the canal. 10 minute kayak ride to Monkey Island. Highly recommend.

Above and Beyond

First, the home, amenities, and location are amazing. You’re walking distance to The Monkey Bar and The Freezer. There is a little ice cream shop kitty corner to the house; Stricklands down a road a bit; and boat rentals with a small sandwich shop next door. Hampton House is beautiful and the property it is on is stunning. The game room is stocked full of games with a little drink fridge and our teens claimed that as their domain immediately. A spacious and well appointed kitchen and tons of fridge room. There are kayaks for guests use. We spent much of our time at the house on the back porch, which is covered, cool, and comfortable. Not only is Hampton House a gem, the owner is as well. The day after we checked in our pup escaped and ran away. Our family had left a door open and she bolted out while myself and my partner were on a fishing charter. Juliet reached out as soon as she heard and posted in a local facebook group. They also frequently checked in to see if there were any updates. Luckily, with a ton of help from the Homosassa community, we were able to locate our pup and bring her home the morning we were checking out. We’ll be back and rent here again in a heartbeat.

Felt like home

What a lovely home to stay in and celebrate Christmas. We arrived to find the house beautifully decorated for Christmas. Bob the great blue heron came and hung out every day. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate we had a great time hanging in the house. Everything that we needed was provided for and very spacious to accommodate 10 adults. Super clean and would definitely stay again.

The only place to go in Homosassa.

If you have a large group and want a spacious and comfortable estate right on the water with access to the river. This is your place. This has been our second trip with nine friends and everybody is so thankful for this property.

Family and relatives gathered in a celebration of life for our mother. The house was perfect - plenty of space, large fenced in yard adjacent to canal for kayaking. We appreciated the opportunity to utilize this great location.

We loved staying here

The house was perfect for our family reunion. There was plenty of space for everyone and the common areas were great for congregating and catching up. We spent a lot of time on the back deck just talking. We all came away with beautiful memories. The only minor suggestion for improvement would be to have more towels.
