"Pelican Cabana" - 3 Bed Townhome - Community Pool & Beach Access!
"Turtle Cove 125: Pelican Cabana" is a three bedroom, three bathroom townhouse located within a private community with private beach access and a community pool. Tucked away on Crosswinds Drive in Surf City, it is an easy walk to the beach, shopping, the pier, and restaurants.
Upon entering unit 125, directly ahead you will find a fully equipped, contemporary kitchen with bar seating.
To your left, you will find a laundry closet equipped with a washer and dryer and a bedroom with two bunk beds. The bedroom uses the full bathroom located in the hallway.
To the right of the kitchen, you’ll find a dining table for 6 and a cozy living area featuring a large flat screen TV. The large sliding glass door lets in ample natural sunlight and leads out to a deck featuring an outdoor dining table, making it the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.
Upstairs, you’ll find two master bedrooms. The first master bedroom features a king bed, TV, en-suite master bathroom, and sound views. The other master bedroom located at the other end of the hallway features a king bed, TV, en-suite master bathroom, and sliding glass doors that lead out to private balcony with seating.
Being just a short walk across the street to the private community pool, a family park, and the beach "Turtle Cove 125: Pelican Cabana" is the perfect place to enjoy a wonderful vacation on Topsail Island!

CANCELLATIONS - Any cancellation of a confirmed reservation must be made in writing by Guest. Reservation payments are not reimbursable unless the property can be re-rented for the same rate and time period less non refundable reservation fee, cancellation fee, and third-party fees. CHECK IN DAY DETAILS - Your rental home allows you to check-in directly at the property. Check-in typically becomes available BETWEEN 4:00 - 6:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. As soon as your rental is ready for check in, we will send you a text message with all of your check-in instructions. Please understand that all homes must be cleaned and inspected before we are allowed to issue access details and you are not allowed to be at the property until you have received that text message.
PREPARING FOR YOUR VACATION - All our vacation rentals include fully equipped kitchens, basic small appliances (microwaves, coffee makers, toasters), pillows, comforters/bedspreads, television(s) and more! Our vacation homes do not supply consumable items for guest use (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, soap, spices, cleaning products, etc.). Please plan accordingly for any items you may need during your stay.
You are welcome to bring your own linens, or we provide a linens rental service for your convenience. Some homes provide complimentary linens for select dates and this detailed information can be found in the description. Linen package options include BRONZE (bed sheets only per bed listed), SILVER (bed sheets per bed listed, a bath towel set per occupancy, dish towel, and a bath mat per shower/tub), and GOLD (all items from the SILVER package plus one extra bath towel per occupancy).
TOPSAIL ISLAND GENERAL INFO- WiFi: WiFi signal strength is NOT guaranteed at your rental for remote work or remote learning. We are located on a barrier island and do not have cellular towers on the island. This, coupled with the increase of guests in our area, creates an inconsistent cellular signal that is outside of our control and therefore, compensation is NOT given.
Beach Nourishment: Beach nourishment projects help preserve and protect Topsail Island’s shoreline. Most projects are scheduled annually between November and April and may involve large pipes on the beach, trucks moving sand, and other equipment to rebuild and maintain our dunes. Timelines and locations can shift without notice, and we are not always informed in advance. While we understand this may impact your beach experience, refunds or compensation will not be provided for disruptions related to beach nourishment. For the latest updates, we recommend checking the town websites for Topsail Beach, Surf City, or North Topsail Beach. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about potential beach impacts during your stay.
Water Pressure Notice: Please be aware that during popular rental dates, especially in the mornings and evenings, there may be temporary reductions in water pressure. This is a common occurrence across the island as many visitors are getting ready for the day or returning from the beach. We recommend planning showers and other water-related activities accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
Public Parking: The Town of Surf City enforces “Pay to Park” from March 1-Oct 31 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in the Surf City Public Beach Access Parking Lots and other marked Public Parking Lots. The Town of North Topsail Beach will enforce “Pay to Park” from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM year-round. Onslow County operates three public parking areas/beach accesses within the Town of North Topsail Beach. To the best of our knowledge the county intends to continue operating these lots free of charge.
Leave No Trace: Topsail Island enforces a "Leave No Trace" policy in order to protect our shoreline, meaning you must remove all items, including tents and chairs, from the beach each day. Any items left behind are subject to theft, removal by the town, or possibility of being washed away by the ocean.
Turtle Nesting Season: From May to October, Topsail Island is a nesting ground for sea turtles. Be mindful of marked nests, limit oceanside deck lights, and follow local guidelines to protect them.

Thoroughly Enjoyed Turtle Cove
The Turtle Cove property was a perfect place for my sister and her husband, along with my family. My four adult children shared the bunk room while the adults had the upstairs. A very short stroll to the beach was leisurely and not an issue. The neighbors were friendly and informative. The grill was propane, and there was a spare tank that we did not need. The kitchen was a little small, but we made it work. There was even a storage closet on the ground floor to stow your beach accessories.
Communication was not necessary as we had no issues. We recommend the property without reservation!

Vacation 2022
This property was very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. The beds slept awesome and we had pillows gallore which was a plus. Even had access to storage room for a place to put our beach gear when not in use. We will definitely be back to stay here again. The only downside was having to leave.
