I did like my stay, however, The lock on the pool fence didn’t work at all. The furniture inside the pool fence needs removing and replacing and the pool was ok, but the area inside the pool fence was dirty. The rooms and parking was fine. I would stay again if I knew the pool area was in better condition.

Economic, basic motel conveniently located near Holbrook town centre. Motel is dated and basic but it was clean and cheap as a stopover location with parking outside your door.

I travel up and down the Hume Highway with my two children once or twice a year. The Byer Fountain Motel is a family favourite which always provides us with the perfect stopover. This was the first time we had stayed there since it changed owners and we were relieved to find it is still the same much loved motel.

Don't recommend this motel.

A very unpleasant stay after driving all day. The door would not stay locked, I had to use the chain to keep it closed. The power points near sink for tea/coffee making or toaster did not work. The inside of the kettle had white calcification all over the heating element. The only working power points was for the microwave & TV. The only way to make a cup of tea was to heat it in the microwave. A lot of insects got into the room. No wonder a strong can of fly spray was supplied in the room.
