The house was completed in July 2016 and lovingly furnished. The cottage has
1 bathroom with sauna
1 guest toilet
3 bedrooms with TV

On the ground floor there is an approximately 45 m² living and lounge area with a fireplace, an open kitchen and the spacious dining area with a direct view of the lake.

The property has an old stock of trees, which provides shade on hot days, but also offers plenty of space for sunbathing on the lake. You can enjoy breakfast or a romantic dinner at sunset on the hotel's own jetty. Of course, swimming and boat trips on the lake are also possible from here.

Location:

The house is located at the Hohenfelden reservoir in the middle of Germany and is only 15-20 km away from the state capital Erfurt and the 'classic city' Weimar.

The 40 hectare reservoir has excellent water quality and is adjacent to a forest area.

The Avenida Therme with sauna area and water park is 500 m away.

Our house is located on a 750 m² property with direct access to the lake.

From here you can discover the nearby cities of Erfurt, Weimar and Jena, or explore the surrounding area.

Immediately adjacent to the Hohenfelden reservoir is the Ilmtal bike and hiking trail that leads to the Thuringian Forest.

The reservoir also offers a thermal bath with a bath and sauna area, a lido with a 30 m water slide. An adventure playground, beach volleyball facility and separate nudist area.

In the adjacent forest there is also a family climbing forest with 118 climbing elements, the active park and a mini golf course.

5 von 5 Sternen – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder Wir waren vom 02.05. bis 13.05. als Männerrunde im Haus direkt am Stausee Hohenfelden und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Empfang durch die Vermieter war ausgesprochen herzlich, die Hausführung war klar und ließ keine Fragen offen.Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, hervorragend ausgestattet und es wurde wirklich an alles gedacht: voll ausgestattete Küche, ausreichend Geschirr, Kaffeemaschinen, WLAN, TV/SAT, Grill, Gartenmöbel, Liegestühle, Terrasse, Steg und sogar ein Boot mit E-Motor. Alles war sauber, gut organisiert und in einwandfreiem Zustand.Die Lage direkt am Wasser, am Ende einer ruhigen Straße, ist ideal zum Entspannen. Kein Straßenlärm, kein Publikumsverkehr – dafür Natur pur mit Eisvogel, Wildtauben und Nilgänsen fast täglich. Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter wurde an alles gedacht: Im Haus liegen ausreichend Spiele für gemütliche Stunden bereit.Für uns war es ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Klare Empfehlung – 5 von 5 Sternen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Fall Family Trip

We rented this house for 5 days. The location and amenities (boat, tree swing, and backyard) were amazing. My kids loved it. However, the cleanliness and bedding comfort of the property was fair compared to another house we rented down the street. This house needs a deep cleaning to remove dust not just on counters but also on hard to reach corners. Very important for families with kids prone to allergies. Furthermore, there were little bugs and spider webs on the ceiling in the kitchen and downstairs living space. The house has not bug screen at windows or doors. Therefore we couldn’t enjoy a cool fall breeze in the house. WLAN is very Limited. Definitely not suitable if you need to work remotely or want to browse the internet. Upstairs and downstairs light motion sensors didn’t work properly. The light didn’t turn off after day 3. As for bedding comfort, the second and third bedroom mattresses were hard and super thin, very uncomfortable even for my kids. No additional bedding for blankets and pillows was provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Wunderschöner Ort, sehr nette Gastgeber.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Das Haus hat alles geboten was wir gebraucht haben, der direkte Zugang zum See ist ein Traum. Der Check-In war sehr einfach. Wir wurden persönlich begrüßt, haben nett gequatscht und eine kleine Einführung bekommen.Es gab zwar unvorhergesehene Schwierigkeiten mit dem Smart Home Apparat / Strom. Aber Norbert hat sich direkt darum gekümmert, vielen Dank dafür! Das war mit die schönste Ferienwohnung-Erfahrung, nächstes Jahr gerne wieder!

Natur und Kultur

Alles entspricht der Beschreibung. Das Haus liegt direkt am See. Am Regentag haben wir die Sauna angeheizt und den Ofen angeschürt. Bei schönem Wetter kann man ganz in der Nähe das Freilichtmuseum besuchen, im Wald spazieren gehen, über den See fahren oder rudern, Sport treiben. Weimar und Erfurt sind zauberhafte, interessante Städte und schnell zu erreichen. In Kranichfeld kann man gut Essen gehen. Die A 4 ist schon zu hören, wenn der Wind ungünstig steht. Aber das Vogelgezwitscher ist lauter. Nachts sieht man einen atemberaubenden Sternenhimmel. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Schönes Haus am See

Wir hatten schöne, erholsame Urlaubstage direkt am Wasser. Im Haus gibt's viel Platz für Regentage und draußen eine Sonnenterrasse, um auch die vielen Tiere auf dem Wasser beobachten zu können. Ein Highlight ist auf jeden Fall das Boot, um den See zu erkunden.

Mutter, Vater, Kinder und die Großeltern haben den Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Ferienhaus genossen. Highlights: Blick auf den See, Nutzung der Sauna im Haus, zu Fuß zum Spaßbad, zum Mini-Golf, zum Klettergarten und zur Pizzeria, mit dem Bus 155 nach Erfurt, mit dem Auto nach Weimar und nach Kranichfeld zur Falken-Show und zum Einkaufen.

sehr schönes Haus in sehr schöner Lage am See

Es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt. Die schöne große Eiche hat auch trotz sommerlichen Temperaturen angenehmen Schatten gespendet. Auch die Außendusche ist sehr erfrischend. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern und die Übergaben war sehr unkompliziert. Die schöne Deko ist allerdings nicht Kleinkindkompatibel - kann man aber auch alles hoch bzw. wegräumen und bei Auszug wieder zurückstellen :-) Alles in allem - gerne wieder!

Komfortables Ferienhaus direkt am See in der Nähe der Thüringer Kulturstätten

Sehr gute Lage für Ausflüge nach Weimar, Erfurt, Rudolstadt, Arnstadt etc., guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren mit dem Fahrrad, Inlinern, zum Wandern. Erholung pur auch vor Ort auf der Terrasse oder dem Steg, im Ruderboot, am Kamin oder in der Sauna. Sehr nette Gastgeber.
