The entrance / foyer & bedroom e.g crown moldings & chandeliers are stunning. Being Aboriginal I felt comfortable, welcomed and proud when I saw the Aboriginal paintings. Sadly this was non existent at other places I stayed during my travels in Tasmania. The room, clean & tidy, staff, helpful and amenities spot on. I will be recommending this motel to friends, work colleagues & family. Thank you for a wonderful and comfortable stay.

Good location for CBD and shopping access. Tidy rooms. Very pricey for peak season and not reflective of quality. Unfortunately there was a local youth ‘element’ that kept us awake until 2am with their loud motel carpark antics- this seemed to be a norm and with managers offsite from 6pm, there is little that can be done. With a young child, I was slightly concerned about the safety aspect. I wouldn’t recommend the Tower and will not return. Better options are available.

The receptionist was helpful and courteous.An old-style motel with facilities kept up to date - modern plumbing etc. Very useful — microwave & toaster plus usual tea & coffee making gear, dishes & some cultery, Free parking and bus stops to and from city just across the road. All v. covenient.

We have stayed here any times as it is very convenient and close to shops etc. The room is a good size, but tired. The microwave is very low on the floor and hard to use. Would be better on the bench

The room was mostly clean except for the windows sills which were covered with dark dust. I asked the staff to clean them and they attempted to remove it, although it still wasn’t 100. The staff were not apologetic and didn’t offer any refunds.

Our stay was good. The room was clean and tidy. Was great for the price we paid. Nice and close to Hobart city. Not far to walk into Newtown itself. Rooms a little old but kept well. Great value for your money. Would stay there again.

Room was quiet although you could hear guests in adjacent rooms doing their morning ablutions The decor was dated, doona thin and old and the combined bathroom/toilet was cramped, like being on a cruise ship. The sheets and towels were clean. TV reception was poor..only 7 & sbs. No other channels or streaming It is close to a good shopping area, Coles & Woolies.
