I would consider myself an easy guest and traveler but sadly this was the worst hotel we stayed in during our month in Vietnam.
The hotel itself is modern and clean but that’s pretty much where the positives end. When we arrived we were allocated our ‘city view’ room on 2nd floor however there is now an 8 story building under construction so rather than seeing the city, you have a noisy building site less than 10 meters from your window. We had to spend almost an hour complaining before we were moved however they then wanted us to move rooms again the next morning. The building work started at 07:30 and went on through until about 19:30 and it is clear there are at least another 6 month of structural work ahead before noise may not be a problem. If you want a relaxing start to the day / post day shower and time in the room, this is definitely not the hotel for you.
The breakfast was basic for the standard of hotel though the staff were friendly. There is definitely a wide lense camera taking photos of the pool for the website as there is no room for sunbathing or sitting around, it’s a dunk and then out.
To finish off the two nights stay, we were woken by the fire alarm at 06:45 on the second morning, which subsequently went off a further 5 times over the next hour!
I’m afraid this is not one I would recommend.
