Great mountain escape
This is a quaint house on a quiet street that is perfect for a mountain getaway. Firepit was a good perk. The best part is you feel remote because it is so quiet, but you are only like a 4 minute drive into downtown Highlands. It was clean inside. Had no issues. Check-in and out was a breeze.
The home was very cozy and conveniently located near downtown Highlands, which made it easy to enjoy the area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the location and comfort of the property.A few things could be improved for future guests. We arrived with very limited toilet paper, the bathmats did not appear clean, and the grill had not been cleaned prior to our stay. I also reached out to the homeowner twice via text prior to our visit but unfortunately never received a response. With a little more attention to cleanliness and communication, this could be an even better experience.
