Enchanting cottage and perfect location!

Our family has stayed in the Highlands area several times over the years, but this is our favorite location! This cottage is beautifully decorated and full of charm. It is close to town, yet secluded and private. We will definitely stay here again.

What a lovely cottage! Perfect for our family we were looking for a great location near Highlands main street and this was just perfect! The cottage is lovely, clean and fully stacked with everything you need during your stay. The best part is the beauty and the peace surrounding you while in the mountains...

So charming and serene!

My family and I had such a relaxing stay at this cozy cottage! It was the perfect location and only a few miles from downtown Highlands. It was CLEAN and each space was decorated in such a charming way! The kitchen was also very well stocked with everything we would need as far as pots, pans and utensils. Each bed was so comfortable too! We are looking forward to visiting Highlands again and staying in this sweet cottage!

This cottage was absolutely perfect for our girls' trip. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The cottage was so cozy, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and amazingly well stocked. The outdoor deck is perfect for relaxing (or doing morning yoga). The location is idyllic - but still a short drive to downtown Highlands and to lots of great hiking. Our host was wonderful. We enjoyed great communication, with thoughtful touches to make us feel welcome. I would highly recommend this lovely home and hope to return in the future.

Loved it

Sweet cottage in a tranquil setting. Clean and cozy. Mattresses were awesome. Only suggestion would be some shaded seating on the deck since it’s full sun most of the day.

Beautiful home and property!

This is a lovely cottage and perfect for our family. The home is clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the deck for drinking our morning coffee and then for relaxing in the sun after our afternoon hikes. The property has a pretty pond and soothing waterfall. It is a great location and close to town. This is the second time we have stayed here and we will definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Thanksgiving Getaway

Our family loves to leave Florida and head for the mountains Thanksgiving week. We were close to a lot of beautiful hiking locations. The house was perfect for us. The kitchen was fully equipped for Thanksgiving dinner. The house was very cozy and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The house is decorated like an English cottage, which made it extra special. We highly recommend this house.

Perfect getaway

From the moment we entered the home we were happy to be there. We had a long drive from Michigan but it was erased from memory immediately. The home is beautifully furnished in a mountain cabin style. Everything we needed for the entire stay was there, including a nice bottle of wine. The grounds are beautiful too, and Dawn spent hours sunning on the private deck. Highlands is a real gem of a town and we enjoyed all it offers. This was the best experience I’ve had using VRBO. We will be back, and won’t even mind the drive.
