It was a great stay!! Quite peaceful and nicely tucked away! The views were incredible. And everything is close by if you end up forgetting anything.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Spectacular views, convenient to restaurants, the lake and more. It was my wife’s birthday and owner went out of his way to help me have balloons and flowers in place upon arrival. Highly recommend and we’ll be back.

This cabin was lovely and conveniently located. The wall of windows looking over the valley with backdrop of mountains was beautiful. Everything was clean and in good order.We missed having a yard or area to take a walk in the lovely weather. There was a small front yard, and because of the drop in the land it was impossible to go in back of the house.

Beautiful view and very convenient location. This cabin has everything you will need. Recommend finding it in the daylight if you can! It is very easy to access once you know what you are doing but the road is hard to find for the first time in the dark. We would be happy to stay here again.

Out of the way place but convenient to not only Haiwassee, but North Georgia and Western North Carolina. We were there in October when the leaves were turning and the view from the deck of the mountains was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and living room were comfortable. Our only difficulty was handling the trash the last day as we were leaving. We took it to the place where we directed to go. However, the bin was locked and we could not dispose of the trash. Not sure if we missed something, but we left the trash in the car and disposed of it in our own trash can when we arrived home. Fortunately, we did not have bad smell to deal with. We will probably come back in the fall if the place is available.

We hade great time with our grandson before he report for duty in the Army ! For three of us the cabin was very accommodating. Unbelievable view from the deck. The place was very clean ,well equipped. The only "negative" the squeaky floor in the bedroom( but only at night was more noticeable)With that,this was the best place to stay . Close to town , store,attractions. Would love to come back again and again!!

This is a lovely clean cabin. It was exactly what we needed. As I told the host, the master bath shower did not have hot water, the cabin did not have paper towels and only two rolls of toilet paper so be sure to bring your own. It was in a great location for us and we really enjoyed our stay. The only other observation was that the second room upstairs with the four twin beds did not have a window unit and was very hot. Thank goodness we ended up not needing that bedroom. I would stay there again for sure and I hope the host makes those few adjustments.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Hiawassee. The house was spotlessly clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The beds were clean and very comfortable. Although it felt like a peaceful retreat in the wilderness, it was conveniently located less than a mile from downtown Hiawassee. The view from the back deck was absolutely stunning, with sweeping vistas of Brasstown Bald and the surrounding mountains. It was also a great base for exploring many nearby Appalachian attractions.The host was easy to contact and very helpful when we had questions. The only minor issue was that the WiFi was somewhat unreliable at times, though this seemed to be a service provider issue rather than a problem with the house itself. Excellent home with great view

This is our second stay here and we really liked the property. Convenient to our needs, great views, sufficient amenities. The only fly in the ointment, and the only reason this is not a five star rating is NOT the owner's fault, but does take some of the luster off our stay. The internet was MADDENINGLY erratic. On, off, back on for a bit, then off. It made any work and any streaming nearly impossible. If this can be fixed, it would be GREAT!

Beautiful view

Beautiful view even though trees have grown up and you can't see the lake. The mountains are beautiful. House is close to other houses but mostly felt private. The cabin is spacious and we loved the windows. Sometimes had TV streaming issues.

Pretty house in wonderful location.

My wife, her sister and I spent a long weekend in this lovely cabin. The cabin was conveniently located a short drive from downtown Hiawassee. The house had everything we needed. This included an electric fireplace which provided plenty of heat during the cold weather that hit the region. A winter snowfall hit the region the day after our arrival, so we spent a lot of time indoors, as little in town (other than Ingles) was open and the roads were somewhat treacherous for driving. But the snow provided wonderful views of the area, including the magnificent nearby mountains. Looking forward to another visit next winter!

Short but sweet

Much enjoyed time together. Great location for town is just down the road. Pete, the host, communicates well and check in/out was easy. Beds were comfortable. Downstairs has ping pong and a corn hole game which produced several good laughs. Made the trip better since we had a rainy day. WiFi worked well and kitchen had sufficient supplies with what we brought with us. We would stay here again if we decide to come to the area.
