Convenient Yet Not

This is an older property catering to long haul truckers. The non-smoking room reeked of smoke, but worst of all was the renovated “hardwood” floors were dirty. The towels were threadbare and there was no soap.

One night stay in Hazen, Arkansas.

Everything was great with the exception of the TV only having one channel in which to watch, it was a HDMI channel. No selection here what so ever. They obviously do not have cable or local channels. Staff was friendly, room was very clean and comfortable. Very good Mexican restaurant adjoins parking lot. Felt secure, staff physically monitored parking lot.

The hotel needs upgrades. The beds are so uncomfortable that you might be better off sleeping in the floor. You can tell this is a low end trucker hotel.

There were many problems with the room. They had to switch rooms and the second wasn’t much better. Floors were buckling all over and the toilet wasn’t even secure. They did not do any house keeping in 3 days. The people at the counter barely spoke clear enough to understand
