Lovely stay

Lovely friendly staff. Very busy pub. Couldn’t offer us breakfast as we were off early but gave us a lovely lunch bag to takeaway. Food was fantastic in the pub highly recommend.

The staff were helpful and the food good; although the bed was comfortable, the bedroom and the bedroom corridor were very tired and needing refurbishment; our impression of our room was sealed by there not being enough hooks for the curtains to hang properly.

Lovely Inn in pretty village with swans

I love coming to stay here, it’s one of my favourite places and I try to come every year. The proprietor is charming and funny and often feeds my dog sausages! The atmosphere is great.

Warm welcome despite very late arrival time

Great staff, lovely character interior to the bar/dining area. Very enjoyable cooked breakfast. Safe, free carpark to the rear of the Bent Arms Inn.

Don't come here if you are in a hurry

Functional rather than cosy room. Problem was 75 minute wait after ordering for evening meal and over 30 minutes for breakfast.
