Value budget room

The room was small, but was a budget one, it was very hot even with the window open and a fan on due to it being a very hot day. I found it hard to get in and out of bed due to one side being right up to the wall. The soap dispensers in the bathroom were not very good either, but in general the room was good value for what we paid for it !!!

Great location,room very spacious and tidy Floor boards creaky but it’s an old building so to be expected, don’t let that deter you from staying. We cannot comment on any other areas as we only stayed one night on route to the airport

A Little Gem in Harrogate

We had a fantastic time and were very impressed with the Hotel, it was such a shame we could only stay for 1 night , next time we are Harrogate we will pick The Crown

Beautiful building with lots of history, spotlessly clean. Quiet and within walking distance to the town centre. Smaller room than expected but had everything needed, including a fan in the cupboard which was great to see as the room was very warm and front windows didn’t open far. Reception staff very helpful, and barman was friendly and chatty making it a pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely looking hotel from the outside, lovely reception area with very friendly and helpful staff but Im afraid the bedrooms are a big let down very basic furniture chipped and cheep looking, our room had a bed which one side of the bed was against the wall so meaning someone had to climb over there other half to get up through the night!! Not good especially if you’re getting on a bit. Having said that the staff were very good a changed our room with a bit more space so thank you crown hotel staff for your understanding and helping us out with this. Would we stay here again probably not due to the bedrooms looking outdated.

We had a lovely stay, although the rooms are tired and in need of refurbishment. It was very hot in the rooms, a fan is provided. It's probably a little overpriced for the standard of the rooms.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. I booked this hotel for a special occasion and the staff did a fantastic job to make us feel welcome and special. The room was spacious and we had a lovely view of the gardens opposite. I would definitely book to stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend.

Lovely traditional Hotel in a good location for all that Harrogate has to offer. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The only issue was the sofa in our hotel room was damaged and gave a poor first impression of the room .

The toilet and basin needed attention on our arrival.The room was very hot all the time of our stay. The sash window was jammed about 8ins from the bottom and we couldnt open it further or close it if it had rained. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.
