The Oriental Jade is a little jewel in the heart of the Old Quarter. With all of the doctored reviews out there for hotels in Vietnam, I was genuinely concerned. The Oriental Jade exceeded all of my expectations. The staff was wonderful!! Everyone was eager to help and happy to just chat and offer ideas. They greet you with a welcome drink and cookies as they get your room key ready. The room was lovely and very clean - including the bathroom. The hotel has a very good complimentary breakfast with Vietnamese and Western options. There is a rooftop pool with bar and restaurant. The location cannot be beat. I am extremely picky about where I stay due to multiple health issues and The Oriental Jade is a perfect place to stay during your visit to Hanoi.

The staff are exceptional and go above and beyond to help make the stay memorable! Their English is better than mine. Can’t speak highly enough of the staff. The hotel itself is clean, modern, spacious and very comfortable. Despite being in the middle of old quarter they must have great soundproofing as the night was quiet. No regrets here and we’d gladly stay again.
