Our stay at Solaria Hotel was amazing — easily the best in Hanoi! The room was spacious and beautiful, which is rare in the Old Quarter. The location was perfect, close to shops, cafes, restaurants, and main sights. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved relaxing with cocktails at the rooftop bar after exploring. A huge thanks to Liam, who organised our Ha Long Bay trip, airport transfers, and even a complimentary foot spa. He made everything stress-free, especially travelling with kids. We also received a lovely thank-you gift of Vietnamese coffee when we left — such a thoughtful touch. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend Solaria Hotel!

The staff at this hotel were the best we experienced when travelling Vietnam, very attentive and informative throughout our stay. The breakfast options were very varied and all homemade. The staff even arranged for a gluten free waffle to be made for one of our party. The staff is conveniently located within the Old Quarter, right next to Hoan Kien Lake. Cannot recommend more highly.

The hotel was pretty much exactly as the pictures show. Breakfast was incredible, the staff were kind and helpful, and the spa, restaurants, and sky bar were wonderful. We paid for one of the cheapest rooms here, and while the actual room was modest in size and did not have much view, we thought we got a great value for the money (you can pay for a larger room if that'simportant). Location is right in Old Quarter with easy walkability. Airport transfer was simple even with a later arrival.

The staff at Solaria is amazing they go above and beyond for all their hotel guests. The front desk staff helped make spa appointments for me at places outside of the hotel which was extremely helpful since many people didn’t speak English. Hotel location was great too for easy access to shopping and restaurants and walkable to many tourist spots. The breakfast is also very good has both Vietnamese and western options and everything is fresh and made to order. The bathrooms are quite small but it was not that big of deal for me.

We stayed at Solaria for our anniversary and the staff made the experience unforgettable. They decorated our bed with petals and towel swans, which was such a sweet touch. The service was above and beyond—when the airline lost my luggage and another traveler’s bag was dropped off by mistake, the staff stayed with me that night making calls until my bag was returned (which was huge since we had a cruise the next morning!). Throughout the trip they helped with transfers, worked with our cruise company, and even sent us off with gifts like coffee. Special thanks to Cheese and Lily, though everyone was wonderful. Truly some of the best service I’ve ever experienced!

Our stay at Solaris Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, largely thanks to the incredible staff who went above and beyond to make our experience seamless. We originally faced a stressful situation due to a poor third-party booking, and that’s when David stepped in. He handled the issue with professionalism and genuine care, offering us immediate solutions when we felt stuck. His ability to turn a frustrating problem into a smooth resolution truly set the tone for the rest of our stay. Liam also deserves special recognition for his outstanding service and leadership. He coordinated effortlessly with his team and even assisted us with tourism arrangements, securing a reservation on very short notice that we would have otherwise missed out on. His attentiveness and organizational skills made us feel like valued guests at every step. Grace was equally wonderful—her kindness and attentiveness left a lasting impression. She patiently answered our many questions about the area, from dining recommendations to helpful travel tips, all of which made our visit not only more comfortable but also more memorable. Ha Noi Solaria Hotel

Our family spent a month in Vietnam and Cambodia and used Solaria Hotel as our base, and stayed here on 3 separate occasions. Incredible location with easy access to anything you want to do. The rooms were excellent, breakfast was delicious ( beef pho in particular), massages were lovely and more. We travel internationally a lot, and this hotel by far has the best staff we have ever met. They are generous with their suggestions and go out of their way to make your stay in Hanoi and yes Vietnam too as perfect as it can be. In particular Liam and Susan. Susan always had the best suggestions of things we should do. And Liam helped organize cars, tours and more as we navigated Vietnam. We would have been lost without him. His kindness was boundless. We can’t wait to return to Hanoi and stay at this amazing hotel again.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel in Hanoi, and what stood out the most was the truly exceptional service. Every interaction felt genuine—whether it was the warm greeting at the front desk, the helpful recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The team here is attentive without being intrusive, and it’s clear that they take pride in making each guest’s experience personal and memorable. They helped arrange transportation, gave me insider tips for exploring the Old Quarter, and even checked in to make sure everything in my room was perfect. Hanoi is already a beautiful and vibrant city, but staying here elevated my trip to another level.
