Our first room 303 Green toilet has a bad smell, so we requested a change to 302 Orange the next day. The staff and reception and cheerful and efficient! Rooms are clean and sufficiently equipped for budget travelers. The small table lamp bulbs needs to be changed. Both rooms side table lamps are not functioning. Overall it is a nice little boutique travel hotel for the budget conscious. The staff is efficient and respond quickly to our requests. I had a good experience staying at Hera Hotel Hadong.

I liked staying here. It’s cheap and friendly. They do their best trying to keep an older building as clean as they can. The hot water is decent (and there’s a trick to it, so if it’s not working just ask at the desk). The place has a good vibe. If you want posh, stay at the Wyndham a couple of clocks away. If you want a more authentic, ground level Viet Nam experience, stay here. It’s not near the downtown core but that can be a good thing. The neighborhood around here is worth exploring, and it’s not too day by Grab to Aeon Ha Dong, which is a great modern mall. Worth checking out. Also there is the garden street across the highway where you can buy plants and flowers.
