I chose this place at the very last minute. It was all that I expected and wanted and more: two bedrooms with three beds, a comfortable living space, two full bathrooms, kitchen with all the basic necessities, TV in each bedroom and in the living room, a dining table and chairs, an outside porch with table, a big open space, and grill, easy parking and access, quiet, .and access to two pools. The place was well tended: clean, with towels and extras blankets ready. Howard, the owner, checked on us online, and gave all pertinent information and was available. I stayed two night and would have liked to stay longer. My only disappointment was a small one. There were no grill cooking accessories and only one big spoon to cook with in the kitchen. No spatulas of any kind. We made due in the kitchen but ditched the grill. Some how-tos about how to use the grill would have been helpful as I was further discouraged by the lack of them. I am an apartment dweller and do not deal with grills regularly. There was no posted guidance even though the grill said it had it.I would give this getaway five stars overall. The small things I pointed out could easily be amended by Howard. Thanks very much for a great stay. The pool was lovely, and the country store convenient. The weather turned on us but I know the Jiminey Peak Area is fun! Don’t hesitate to take advantage of this home away from home.
