Remodeled horse barn and club, has a lot of personality. I wanted something unique and it was. I stayed in the largest room, lovely sheets and linens, very comfortable bed. The restaurant is the actual barn remodeled. Breakfast was good. The hotel has only 25 rooms and is in an upscale quiet neighborhood but we hired taxis to get around which was better than walking to the station 15min. Walk away in the rainy weather in February. Lovely couples break for us.

Well worth the upgrade to the junior suite

Beautiful hotel with a bed and breakfast feel. Exceeded ecpectations. We upgraded approximately $20 more per night for the junior suite which was well worth the extra cost. Gorgeous room situated with a sunroom style living area that provided seclusion by greenery all around the room on the exterior but still allowing sun to come in. A tranquil relaxing treat. The restaurant was beautiful and romantic. It was closed for lunch on the day of our checkout because it was hosting a wedding reception and it was the perfect place for such an event.

Absolutely Lovely

This hotel is a little off the beaten path and best accessible by car. It was charming and spotlessly clean. The room was a "family" room for my husband, son and I and was incredibly roomy. The beds were very comfortable, even the cot my son slept in. There were newspapers in the morning in both German and English. We would recommend this highly to anyone traveling to Hamburg.

Snygg anlÀggning med trevliga rum och en vÀlkÀnt god restaurang. Stort fint rum med uteplats men för mörkt enligt vÄr smak. Mycket god mat pÄ kvÀllen. Vi tog köksmÀstarens överraskning i 3 rÀtter med tillhörande viner och det var bÄde gott och spÀnnande. Fantastiskt kunnig och rolig sommelier. Enda negativa var att den reservation till middag vi gjort nÀr vi reserverade hotellet hade man missat, och vi fick vÀnta i 2 timmar pÄ att fÄ plats.

Im Grunde ein hĂŒbsches Haus. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, wenn auch keine Highlight. Die QualitĂ€t des FrĂŒhstĂŒcks war hervorragend und die 25 Euro durchaus wert. Was nicht sonderlich toll war, ist der Service. Wir wollten etwas als HotelgĂ€ste in der Bar trinken. PlĂ€tze waren mehr als genug vorhanden. Wir wurden aber gebeten unseren Tee auf unserem Zimmer zu uns zu nehmen, da es an Personal mangelt und auswĂ€rtige GĂ€ste schon nicht angenommen wurden. Es wĂ€re diesen GĂ€sten unfair gegenĂŒber, wenn wir als HotelgĂ€ste dann unser GetrĂ€nk an der Bar zu uns nehmen wĂŒrden. Der Sinn erschließt sich mir bis heute nicht, da der Tee ja eh zubereitet wurde. Das war schrĂ€g und hoffentlich nicht der Anspruch des Hauses. Die Rechnung habe ich lustigerweise erst sehen dĂŒrfen, nachdem ich den angesagten Betrag bezahlt habe. Dann wurde mir die Rechnung ausgehĂ€ndigt. Lustige Reihenfolge, aber sei es drum. Ich denke im Service ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Sehr viel. Wir bedenken, bitte das eine Übernachtung ĂŒber 200 € gekostet hat. Ohne FrĂŒhstĂŒck, wohlgemerkt. Bis auf das FrĂŒhstĂŒck, das wirklich super war, hĂ€tte es auch ein Ibis oder ein anderes Mittelklassehotel getan.
