Little gem of a hotel.

We do not know the Harburg-Hamburg area well, and only booked this hotel because it was near to my sister's home, just a short bus ride. We were pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel, and the fair value of the breakfast options. Tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms would make it an ideal place to stay. We will stay here in future when visiting our family members.

A good choice in Harburg

The room was clean and cozy, with bottled water. No lift, but it does not matter for a light luggage, or you can ask for a ground floor room. Rooms in road side may be noisy in the morning. The soundproof is OK but for some rooms you may hear the sound of water from the room upstairs. In general, clean facilities, helpful staff, very close to the subway (find the correct exit) and harburg center.

Handy for Hamburg...and nearby resturants

We have stayed a number of time at the Hotel Jeta. We have visited our son who has been working Harburg as part of his Aerospace Degree. The hotel is well located and the access to cheap parking in the adjacent multi-storey is a real bonus. If we were to quibble about one thing...the proximity of the railway line can be unhelpful if you need windows open during the night. However we are townies...and so it didn't bother us. It is a town centre hotel after all. Great eating places nearby...try Lammertwieter about 5 minutes walk away where there is a huge choice of restaurants. Word of caution....the steak house over the road is not the one to go to...we were cautioned against it by the staff and we went to Block Haus...very good. For more traditional Bavarian fare try Hofbrau

The staff I met were welcoming and helpful. I arrived too early for check in but my room was ready and they were more than happy for me to check in early. The rooms and corridors were all clean and bright and the breakfast was what you would expect

Great hotel, right next to a train station

We got in and couldn't speak German but they had 2 English speakers. It made us feel at ease knowing we could talk to someone. The room was a lot nicer than expected for the price. We chose to have breakfast for 5 euro a morning and it was delightful.

Ich war positiv überrascht, wie sauber und schön das Hotelzimmer war. Es sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Die Betten war angenehm weich. Die Lage ist top. Man hat alles was man braucht konzentriert in einem Punkt. Die S-Bahn ist 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

Mein Zimmer war direkt neben Eingangstür und Rezeption. Von der Toilette bis zur Rezeption wenige Schritt entfernt. Habe jedes kommen und gehen mitbekommen und jedes Gespräch der rauchenden vor dem Eingang. Da ich auf Geschäfsreise war, war das am zweiten Tag sehr ungünstig. Zweite Nacht war leise. Aber kein warmes Wasser. Zimmer war sehr spartanisch ausgestattet aber sehr sauber und sehr ordentlich.

Excellent room and friendly staff

We were very pleased with our comfy big room, and friendly service. We arrived after the reception had already been closed, but access to keys was easy and made our check-in very convenient. Breakfast was simple nyt tasty. We would gladly come again!
