We had a lovely stay at Woodpeckers.

We had a lovely stay at Woodpeckers. The view from the conservatory was really nice, and we loved watching the Alpacas (our dog was fascinated), and other wildlife. There are good walks right from the cottage, and lovely countryside around the area, and of course the coast not far away. We would definitely go back, and would recommend this cottage.

Immaculately clean, nicely decorated and well-equipped cottage in a lovely peaceful location.

Immaculately clean, nicely decorated and well-equipped cottage in a lovely peaceful location. We particularly enjoyed the alpacas in the field at the bottom of the garden. A few dishwasher tabs would have been nice, but tbh we weren't expecting a dishwasher in the first place! (also a washing machine, which we didn't use but always good to have with kids!). The books and games are a nice touch. Exceeded expectations.

A fantastic place to stay.

A fantastic place to stay. The location was perfect, country walks from the doorstep and the coast 9 miles away. A small shop a few miles away and a pub within a mile. Woodpeckers is clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need. The enclosed garden was a bonus. Sitting in the conservatory looking across the countryside was calm and peaceful. Overall a great place. We would definitely return and recommend.

Accommodation was fine though presented some difficulties for elderly, disabled.

Accommodation was fine though presented some difficulties for elderly, disabled. The couches were low and deep, which meant they had difficulty rising. Likewise the shower over the bath meant it could not be used. Otherwise a very comfortable place with good provision of kitchen needs; comfortable beds; and beautiful countryside.
