The hotel is dated but nice. I prefer the mountain view rooms as they have been updated recently. The beds are quite hard so the tatami mats are the better option. The onsen are very relaxing and my skin feels incredibly soft after each visit. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of both western and eastern style dishes.

Go from your room to the slopes

Hotel is grand and beautiful. Buffet spread is quite good and plentiful. Location is excellent as the slope is just by the hotel.

In door- out door onsen is so perfect. Staff go out of their way to make you happy and comfortable. Food was great. Buffet style which was perfect. Ski/ snowboarding on site, with tubing, sledding, classes for beginners, and so much more. Perfect place for the whole family. Something for everyone.

Love the location, views and layout of the hotel. The on-site Onsen was amazing, tho the sulfer smell was overwhelming to say the least. For the price we paid, the room was pretty awful. The room was bare and ugly. The beds were like sleeping on a rock and the pillows were hard too. I understand that's just part of staying in a hotel in Japan, but the lack of comfort will prevent us from staying there again. The hospitality and helpfulness of the staff was great. The included eating options were WAY overpriced.

hachimantai slopes

fantastic hotel right on a small ski area's piste. food is good quality, but repetitive if staying more than a few nights. no apres-ski or night life. super quiet lodging and area. one restaurant in town (10 minute taxi ride). when it snows, it is fantastic. when no snow, a little TOO quiet.

大推全景滑雪場 由盛岡東口3號站，搭巴士去酒店，須1.5小時，巴士會停大更站，須重新拍一次IC card, 不過不需落車。我們沒有買滑雪一日卷 巴士套票，因為酒店買一日卷都是4000yen, 分開買一樣價錢。 酒店大堂有飲品提供，可隨時享用。 我們11點左右到達，3點才check in, 有一個更衣室可放低行理，酒店亦有分配一個滑雪locker, 可放隨身貴重物品。前台可買滑雪lift 一日卷，一日和二日卷都是一樣價錢，因此每天買當天的卷，比較保險。如要租借滑雪用品，前台會給九折卷，可到rental shop 租借。由酒店大堂走過通道，幾分鐘，上樓梯即到全景滑雪場。 滑雪場非常適合初級滑雪者！左手邊有beginner 雪道供大家找回感覺。雪道全長2700m, 很長很好玩，我們滑了兩天。 另外有免費復古shuttle bus 來回下倉滑雪場，是中級雪道，我們沒有去。 一泊二食，中午可在滑雪場的餐廳解決，如想食零食，則要去酒店前買定，酒店附近什麼都沒有。酒店晚餐非常豐富，前菜有好幾款，都好味，即整天婦羅，醬薄又脆，好味，亦有用當地產食材。早餐正常發揮。 溫泉有大浴池及露天浴場，滑雪肌肉痛了，浸一浸可舒緩。 整體非常整潔，性價比超高。
