Our main reason for choosing this house was the back yard. In the original pictures, it showed sandy beach to the sound. However, that picture must have been taken years ago. It was grown up with natural grasses, no access to the water. Photo of how it looks now.

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

Overall the house is amazing. It was everything we needed for our group of 12. We found everything we needed to enjoy the beach and lagoon. Elizabeth was easy to communicate with and even reach out part way through our stay to check in and make sure we were doing alright. We would definitely stay at The Lazy Lady again.

Family vaca

First I would like to say how absolutely equipped the kitchen was with a Huge pot for our crab/shrimp boil and 2 cake pans for our birthday celebration. Plus they had Marshmallow sticks. The 8 bedrooms were perfect for my family of 15. Plus there are 2 portacribs and toddler chairs. However, the ceiling fans in rooms 3 and 6 do not work. There are 2 refrigerators with freezers and a wine cooler. The security gates were perfect for 6 years and under. Plenty of lounge chairs around the pool. The outside shower was very nice after the beach. One kayak had a hole, but the other was fine. They had 2 wagons for the beach supplies. They do not provide beach towels. The beach is a easy walk across the street.

Family vacation with kids & grandkids. Glad we paid extra to heat the pool. Access to ocean beach more than a walk with kids on busy road. Plenty of room for our group of 18.

“The Lady” was a 10!

This house has everything you need for the perfect family vacation. The bedrooms are all large with comfortable beds and the kitchen/dining area is amazing. Elizabeth was sweet and always available to answer any questions we had. We have a large family and go to a different beach every year, not next year though, we’re absolutely coming back to The Lady on the Lagoon!

Father's of one this family and in charge of the house

The house itself is very great, the area it was very good, the house maids needed to change the beds liners and a little better clean up, other than that it was fantastic, I went to have have a great time and none of that was a big deal.

This is a great place that is well appointed with some amenities that we haven't seen in 20 years of renting in OBA. There was plenty of room to get away from people if you wanted to. The beach access is less than ideal, but, the clean sandy bottom of the lagoon right outside the house was fantastic. The home was definitely not cheap but if we have another large group, we would rent it again.

Fantastic family place

This was a wonderful place for our family get together. Plenty of room and we loved everything from the pool to the playing in the sand to using the fire pit. We will be back! The property managers were quick to resolve any issues! Thank you.

Great accommodations - Comfortable home

While the house was perfect for a large group (27 of us), the access to the beach was nearly a mile away. That we weren't expecting. We paid more than we planned, but in order to accommodate our large group, it was necessary to spend more. All in all, it was a good choice for our group.

Fun Family Time with Great Amenities

This was our first time to Gulf Shores for our annual extended family vacation. The house easily accommodated all 17 of us without any problem. The two separate living rooms let the kids play video games or play with toys while others watched movies. There was plenty of seating indoors and outdoors for everyone to eat meals together in the open kitchen and living room space. Parking was easy and the community was quiet. The home is super comfortable but the best features are the views that of the lagoon and the lovely, heated pool. We sat out by the fire pit and enjoyed sunsets by the pool and used the provided kayaks multiple times. There were plenty of pool and beach toys. Elizabeth was super easy to work with and promptly responded to answer any questions we had. We loved our stay and would stay in this lovely home again.

Wonderful Stay at the Gulf Shores

We stayed at this property with our whole family. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all 15 of us. The interior was clean and updated and the beds were comfortable. The AC worked like a dream and kept us cool throughout the hot days. The house is situated on the lagoon side and has a wonderful beach area that our kids loved to explore. The pool was clean and nice to play in after a morning at the beach. The beach was right across the road and easily accessible. The house was a quick 6-7 minute drive to the main Gulf Shores area so it was easy to run out to dinner or grab take-out. Another favorite was the fire pit for evening s'mores with the kids. The hosts were extremely communicative and responsive with any questions or concerns we encountered during our stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking to stay in the Gulf Shores area.
