Spring break get away

Great location! Direct beach access was perfection! Walkable to all the downtown hot spots. Accommodations were good, unit definitely needs some upgrades, but overall a great time was had by our family. Would stay here again,

Great Location

We enjoyed the condo although we would have liked to have chairs for the balcony. The silverware was lacking in forks & teaspoons. Otherwise the kitchen was well furnished.

Great location

The location was perfect with being close to all the night life and beach. The property needs some repairs. The dishwasher fell out when its opened up all the way. The property smelled moldy and looked like the ceiling in the kitchen and bathrooms needed attention, the dryer knob was broken and the couch looked like it needed cleaned the hide-a-bed was filthy, the curtains needed cleaned. Overall a great location just needs some attention to cleanliness. attattention.

The only issue was it would get hot and night. We did find a fan in the closet and it was way better but we needed one for the other bedroom. I should have called property but did not.

Great place on the beach

Been coming to Gulf Shores for years, but never stayed on the beach itself. Glad we picked this property, as it had everything we needed - plenty of parking (via a paid pass for the duration), walkable to the Hangout, Souvenir City, etc, and of course right on the beach. Showers were right at the walkway to wash the sand off when you're done. Beds were comfortable, AC was cold, and the full kitchen let us store and reheat leftovers when we didn't feel like going out to eat. The balcony was perfect for enjoying the breeze off the water.

Great location

Property easy to get to, close to everything, short distance walk to beach. We ended up using a box fan that was in the closet, could have used a 2nd one in the other bedroom. Overall great time!

Relaxing

The place was clean and stocked with the needed kitchen items but be prepared to bring everything from foil to coffee filters (which we did). The one negative is there is a much needed thick curtain needed for the first bedroom. Due to the hallway light staying on all night, it shines bright through the blinds. Would be nice to have a coffee table for game nights but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Suggestions for comfort

Overall we had a good stay. My suggestions would be for the comfort of your guests. I understand only supplying the basics so that sometimes stay can get started, but if that is what you do make it quality. The toilet paper and paper towels were awful, we only received the bare minimum of towels which were small and scratchy and no dishcloth or dish soap for the kitchen. Not all items are dishwasher washable. Also, the blinds in the main bedroom do not block out the very bright light right outside the window at night. We ended up purchasing our own towels and dish soap, along with makeshifting something to cover the bedroom window. I would also suggest rugs inside the door and slider. We did very much enjoy our vacation but would appreciate an upgrade on items based on the price. Thank you

Extremely loud slamming doors at 1AM. Both bathrooms are located inside a bedroom.

Perhaps the description of this rental is no different from how others are described but if the place has only a “partial” view of the beach then it shouldn’t say ocean front. The building of this rental is ocean front. The rental itself is not. I was told by owner that the pictures indicate partial view. So, why the misleading description? The noise level after midnight was awful. Plus, I placed some stuff outside the door for literally a few minutes only to return and find them gone. While this is not the fault of the owner, I found it disturbing.

Code did not work

After driving 5-6 hours arriving at 12 :30 a.m. tired and worn out, our code didn't work. We had to call Beach ball properties as we were standing outside the door. Took 5-10 minutes, no one picked up. Called again, 6-10 min. later someone finally answered! She kept giving me the code that didn't work, put me on hold 4 min. later gave me another code it didn't work. Put me in hold again 5 min

Great access to the beach!

We were only a short elevator ride and a few steps away from the beach! It was great to be able to easily go back and forth from our room to the beach. We love the Gulf Shores area - beaches are clean and we always have a great time! Our condo was within walking distance of The Hangout - a great seafood restaurant with live bands and a fun vibe! Also within walking distance of souvenir shops.
