The Holiday Inn was really nice, staff were lovely and particularly the gentleman on reception very helpful as an issue when arrived (room 253)

Excellent location for the University of Surrey. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and spacious. The only complaint is that there were no lifts to our room. However, a member of staff kindly helped us take our luggage down a flight of stairs.

Room for 3 - 2 Doubles and a Sofa Bed

Check-in was efficient and friendly. Reception area and corridors not particularly clean. Tired and dated but spacious and clean rooms/bathrooms. Little touches like robes, slippers and complimentary bottles of water and snacks are a nice touch. Expensive stay for the quality of the hotel and condition of the rooms and frustrating to have to pay extra for parking. Breakfast well priced.

Avoid if you are elderly or think you have a deal!

If Hotels.com advertise a rate that the Hotel don't agree with then their argument should be between the two of them not the customer (me) who bought it in good faith. Plus this Hotel has no lift to the upper floor and no suggestion of any assistance with luggage. Bed was good as was breakfast - parking is £8 with the threat of a £100 fine if you overstay
