Great location and smart hotel.

Went to G Live next door. This hotel is a fantastic location as the high street is on its doorstep. Jenny the receptionist was so helpful and friendly. We will use this hotel again.

All you want in a hotel

Well appointed hotel, modern, clean, stylish and room was same as well as being quiet at night. All staff encountered were courteous and helpful. Nice and handy for the G Live venue (next door) and less than 5 mins from town centre.

Excellent just needs some minor tweaks

Very good greeting from reception and easy check in. Nice drinks at the bar really friendly stuff I was given a nice quiet room as they had to events unfortunately the staff shouts outside in the morning which woke me up. Disappointed not to have a fridge or a bath mat when coming out of the shower but the rest of it was great

The bed was comfortable. The room was suited my needs, except there was no coffee machine and no toweling robe which would have made my stay much better. The shower was great. The Tv was good. The doors in the building were very heavy could hear lots of slamming doors throughout the night and morning. Apart from that my stay was good. I picked the hotel due to location and the fact it had a pool. The pool was tinny however and not suitable for swimmjng lengths.

Safe Harbour

Overnight stay in Guildford to see a concert at the adjacent GLive venue...great reception, easy parking and access. Rooms are to a high standard with comfortable beds and desk space. Bathrooms are nicely styled, my room had a bath and shower in a metallic bronze scheme. There was a design fault with the shower cubicle as the screens closed on the open corner which means when the showers running and you're getting in the water runs onto the floor ...

As a whole the hotel and staff were nice, the bar staff were lovely and smiley but sadly I found one particular young lady at reception rather rude and condescending which unfortunately puts a bad tone on things. There was a slight confusion on the payment of the afternoon tea and they wouldn’t listen so that was that. The room had stains on the carpets, the lamp shade was hanging off the wall also and the bed was extremely noisy when you even rolled over. The bar was a nice place but hard to find a seat due to the amount of people working on there laptops and drinking there bottles of water. Overall it is a nice hotel and nicely placed but I’m not sure I would rush back sadly.

I absolutely loved how clean and comfortable this hotel was, there was one downside which was that the rooms were swelteringly hot and even with a window open and heating off it wouldn’t cool down. But other than that, my stay was amazing and would deffo recommend to others and stay again!
