Cobran por noches en que no se hace checkin

Terrible experiencia. Se les llamó oportunamente para indicar que se llegaría un poco más tarde por las condiciones del camino y nos rechazaron, sin ninguna consideración. Nos dijeron que se cancelaria el Cargo ya que no no Podríamos hacer el checkin, pero en realidad después de ellos Mismo no permitirnos llevar, si hicieron el cargo por lo que termiron cobrando noches de hotel que no se utilizaron… consideramos un simple abuso. En contraste en el Hotel Carlton a pocas cuadras de allí nos recibieron a media noche antes de hacer checkin para que pudiéramos descansar en una noche lluviosa u fría en UK, sin hacernos un cargo extra. Eso se llama hospitalidad y apoyo a los viajeros, lo otro es un abuso materialista que está dispuesto a co tar por hospedajes que nunca se hicieron. Valla constataré en el trato con la gente !

Room size great, nice to have a fridge & microwave (didn't use only stayed one night but they worked I checked) bed was very comfy and clean,plenty of free parking outside hotel. The only negative and a big one was only luke warm water for shower in morning, I mean luke warm had shower at 9am, check out was 10am.

I discourage anyone who will book this property. Very tiny squeezy rooms. The toilet flash was faulty. The shower rooms are very squyezy you cant bend while washing. Then the worst no hot shower, when I asked I was told they are not responsible for repair but someone else. I had to wash my private face and private parts and leave. The wifi signal isn't reaching the rooms. The carpets are very dirty. The only good think is there is a fridge and microwave in the squeezy room. The danger is, if their is fire emergency you'll all be roasted in these rooms. I will never go to this hostel. Cheap is expensive.

Basic but fulfilled our needs

Top end by pleasure beach and casino Clean ,parking handy opposite Staff a little confused as we gave ref of hotels.com They wanted 10 digit Experian ref Shower needed to run but for money was clean and what was needed Note lots of stairs and windy -probably not good with lots baggage or suitcases Although there is a lift we didn’t use it so can’t comment on how useful it was Curtains up but one didn’t open Kettle tea coffee facilities there a but a little tickle pickledy Microwave in room too

More like a 1-star hotel the claimed 3-star!

Unmanned reception with countless notices. Took 5 minutes to find the bell located in a corner to call for check-in. The floor carpets are very dirty!!! No fan or air-conditioning, so a very muggy night! More like a 1-star hotel the claimed 3-star!

The good part was the beds were clean the lift was ancient the shower was about 1’ of the floor not easy to get out of the plug socket was not secured to the wall properly there was hardly any one on the reception if you needed anything would not recommend

I doubt the hotel has the stars as advertised.

Lift was small, luckily my partners mobility scooter was a fold up one. Room was extremely hot even with the window open. Shower head was dirty, mould on sealant in shower, taps scaled up. No hot water to wash or shower with. There was a leak i think maybe from an overflow pipe, water was hitting a roof nearby to our window so, with that and the heat didn't sleep very well. Bed appeared comfortable although didnt get under the covers as it was so hot, the floor felt hot i presume from pipes so, i dont know why the hot water wasnt getting to the taps.

Reception was welcoming. Room was moderate but most of the furnitures were broken or somehow kept in one piece. Bathroom door was barely hanging, there wasn't any railings to hangs the towels in the bathroom either. Could be better based on the price they are charging. Good thing was the short walk to the beach.

You get what you pay for it was a lovely stay. Microwave, kettle and fridge provided. I bought my own coffee and tea and sugar. There is a little shop round the corner that really is a fab convenience store. They sell everything! So got some milk as those little cartons aren’t nice. Pillows were lovely, mattress was a bit springy I could feel the springs in my lower back but still slept really well. The man who greeted us at the desk on arrival was really nice and friendly. One absolute saving grace is the lift. The stairs next to the lift are so steep that when I was carrying the suitcase my knee gave way but I had a walking stick made by my Dad which I’m so glad I took with me. It’s lovely for anyone to stay. Be it singles, couples and families. Hen and stags too if they got out in the basement or top floor 😈 I didn’t know whether or.not they did food. The gentleman on the desk didn’t say but there’s so many places to eat and suck a variety! Don’t go to the beefeater next to the pleasure beach. Miserable woman at front of house, bad service and food was really really disappointing. Go to the Acke carvery in Caister-on-Sea instead. Absolutely perfect I would have eaten there e wry evening if we would have found it sooner! For.the shower, once you twiddle with the water coming thru the shower head settings and carefully control the temp and pressire knobs you can get it to your preference it just takes patience.

There is nothing not to like bout st george hotel i booked it for me and the missus and the baby and we had a spacious room with a baby cot in the room fresh towls everyday we was there and room was very clean and tidy

Needs a freshen up / good clean!

Location was good, stones throw away from the beach. Luckily we managed to get a free parking space outside the hotel itself but on another day I’m sure the parking around the area can be a nightmare. Floorboards in the room were horrific. So noisy and you could also hear a lot of noise from nearby rooms. There was also drilling of some sort at 7:30am which continued for over an hour. Cups/mugs that were provided in the room weren’t clean before we used them. There were holes in the wall and a lot of general dust/hairs around the room. To summarise, you pay for what you get. It’s cheap and there’s a good reason for that. It’s not sparkling clean, not very modern, and it can be very noisy at times. The big positive is location.
