Great house, very comfortable -- especially the living room/great room. Everything was spotless and in working order. Terrific location (5-10 minutes from town), Lauren was always available to answer questions. Owner gives very thorough instructions on how to use appliances, etc. Lots to do in the area.

Amazing stay

My husband and I and our two adult children and their significant others just spent a week at this property and it was nothing short of amazing! The house was spotless and cozy and we felt right at home! The kitchen was extremely well stocked - better than my kitchen at home! The owners paid very close attention to detail when renovating this property. The property manager, Lauren, was extremely responsive when we needed to contact her about a very minor issue. We would most definitely stay here again!

We had the most wonderful trip! The location is perfect - easy access to downtown GB but still very relaxing and private. The kitchen is beautifully equipped and we ended up cooking most of our meals there. And the living room/great room led to hours of conversation. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay.

Clean, beautiful and close to downtown GB/Butternut

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It's well-equipped, clean and cozy and feels like you are out in the country but also a 10 minute drive from great restaurants, shops and skiing. We definitely plan to return.

The Manor Castle was exactly what we wanted and, more importantly, what we needed for this holiday break. It was clean and comfortable, beautiful and well-appointed. Every time they had an opportunity to make a good choice, they did -- everything was thoughtful and logical, making us feel simultaneously comfortable and pampered.It was the idyllic spot for our vacation and we would happily stay there again. One of the best VRBO ever

The castle house is fantastic. Spacious, beautifully decorated and equipped. There is no meal you can't craft from this kitchen. The house is super quiet,the beds are comfy, towels plush...close to Great Barrington. I can't say enough good things. Book it.

Fabulous Property!

This is a fantastic property! The house and grounds are amazing! The interior of the house was beautiful and spotless and the exterior was just as nice. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay and hope to return again next summer. The location was perfect for everything Berkshires related. I highly recommend this property and rank it among the best experiences we have had to date.

Great birthday weekend getaway!

Our family really loved the home, especially the tower! The outdoor space is also wonderful, where we enjoyed walks, bike rides and visiting wildlife. It is conveniently located near hiking trails and downtown Great Barrington, where we visited the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Family week in the Berks

The house is perfect in terms of location, cleanliness, how it is stocked etc. The kitchen is better stocked than our home. 3rd BR is a little small and you need to walk steps to get to the 2nd br but all in all a great place

Great renovation convenient to GB, Egremont and numerous hikes

We enjoyed the tasteful furnishings and well thought out renovation during 4 nights in mid-November as a relaxing break from NYC. The windows in the living room are excellent for bird watching, and the large and comfortable sofa is perfect for lounging, reading or watching TV. The kitchen has high end appliances which we didn’t really use, but they were nice to look at. Loved the charging station for mobile phones! The mattress in the main bedroom on the ground floor was top notch and super comfortable. As the house is on a private cul de sac it’s very quiet. Would visit again as the house is so pleasant you just want to stay in and enjoy it.

Beautiful Home in the Berkshires

Close to antique stores, theaters, and gourmet food markets, this beautiful country castle is in an ideal location to explore the Berkshires. The kitchen is very well-equipped for preparing meals at home. The living room with fireplace is a perfect spot to watch movies and play board games. We look forward to our return!

Private and Tranquil

We wanted a few days away to unwind and relax. This house was just what we needed. Our two small dogs enjoyed their stay, too. The house is well appointed with everything you might need. The location is conveniently near restaurants and shopping. You can tell the house was decorated with comfort in mind. We stayed during the off season, so getting around the Berkshires from the house was easy with little traffic. The layout offers privacy...great to sneak upstairs to curl up and read a book. I highly recommend this house.

Amazing Property

We enjoyed our first stay so much last year that we had to visit again! The property is gorgeous. We love how quiet and peaceful it is and yet it is close to any convenience you could need or want. We will definitely be back!

Girls Weekend

We so enjoyed our weekend stay at Manor Lane! Love the area and view of mountains and tall trees. The home is very cozy and really comfortable beds! Close to Great Barrington shopping. Look forward to coming back to Great Barrington!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well-appointed property! We spent quite a bit of time relaxing on the property, the patio is amazing! We were minutes away from shopping so came home with more than we arrived with for sure. The pictures really do not do the house justice! We definitely plan to stay here again!

Beautiful Late Summer Stay

The home and property made for an excellent stay for our friends. We loved how close it was to Great Barrington. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked, and the living room is beautiful and comfortable. Communication with the property managers was quick and responsive. Would happily stay here again!
